I'm sorry then... I often take things more seriously that what they really are... I fail at understanding sarcasm and anything >_<

And I think the hand level thing could be done by messing a bit with mario's paths and events...
(I wan't to play a hand level now XD the entire level is a hand, and there are different kind of hands as enemies, hand plants, hand blocks, clouds have hand shape, Spikes are hands that want to poke Mario and everything else are hands too. XDD Final boss is of course a hand.)

No no no. Your brain is just not. Four dimensional enough. To see it without a the special bit on to reintepret the. Picture.

um... I don't say anything about 4D there.
And mode 7 is was used to simulate 3D, If a picture is distorsioned like this:

Our brain, even if we know it's a picture with a shape, automatically thinks is 3D. (but we can intepret it no matter what the brain thinks first, so we can see is a 2D image or even asociate it with other dimensions, which is what we have todo to actually see the tesseract)

Anyways as I said this is smw, taking about 4D in smw is just crazy XD

Back on topic... The hand idea is cool, but could it be possible make it as a level? I mean The hands comes out, you go there but it doesn't make you go to bowsers world, instead is a level of hands. When this level is completed, the hand automatically sends you to bowser's world, and you can't go back to the level, becouse exit bowser's world makes mario go away from the hand, and going to the hand makes him go back to bowser's level.

Far too ironic? Or... not nearly ironic enough?

because doing an incredibly stupid job of feigning stupidity doesn't make your act more convincing.

I guess you might have been making a statement about how faking stupid posts is stupid, but that's far too ironic to be cool.

Damnation, how obvious do I have to make a purposely stupid post before people start playing along? Kyouji's posts don't count because that was the worst attempt at fake stupidity I've ever seen.

Is interesting how a thread about bowser workd entrance turns into representating dimensions...

Anyways, the FX thing allowed snes to use 3D polygons, but... smw showing a 3D representation of a 4D thing on a 2D representation coded by 1D data? (data bytes and that stuff is 1D I think...) It's smw... XD

No no no, you need to enable. a specail bit in order to get a 34D effect. i'm sure of it.

I always thought the forth dimension was time.

While time can be interpreted as a fourth dimension, it is different from the others in that things cannot move back and forth through time freely, and as such it is often considered separate from the other three dimensions. There can be a speedup or slowdown effect of sorts in relation to other objects' passage through time according to the theory of special relativity, however.

What?

Anyways, I looked at that tesseract pic... looked like a cube with it's center removed. I'm not ready for the 1337-ness of 4D I guess... but I always thought the forth dimension was time.

Dude. We're talking about making a 4D object, project it into 3D space, making it look like crap, then project the crappy 3D projection down to a 2D plane, making it crappy^2... I really doubt that HDMA can help us here, unless you recently found an undocumented 4D simulation feature (creating a 4D hologram in front of the computer screen) hidden in the emulator's HDMA code.

No no no, this is all a misunderstand.

I mean you need mode 7 for that.

He did, though. He told me all about it. It works by... Decompressing the... Routine... In four-dimensional space... Minus two.

Theoretical teleportation abilities aside (teleport to Bowser's Kingdom through a tesseract? Hee hee, neat idea), a tesseract wouldn't be very feasible to pull off even in a 3D game much less a 2D game. We’ve got our crappy 2D rendering of one with all its confusing lines that we can work with and I'm willing to bet all the coins in the Mushroom Kingdom that it would turn out to be a big mess.

I was actually thinking along these lines, though your idea is pretty good.

Excuse the extremely poor quality - I don't own a digital camera, so I just put my hand on my scanner and scanned it
