I've typed up the manual that will be included with the next release (1.0); for now, it's located on my server, if you want to read it, here. |

Tis excellent. Hardly even recognizable. If this had come out at the same time as FF, it may have been more popular. The only thing I don't really dig is the victory music. It seems too repetitive to be hearing all the time. But really, I'm just being anal. And it may grow on me. |

Yes. The reason why it's not the final release is because it is still open for suggestions on changing the gameplay (if needed). |

So, is this game finished? Could one actually beat it? |

Oh God, yes! I'm so excited to play this. |

Unless other mods disagree, this hack has been worked on too long to let it die. So I'm stickying this so it can get some attention. |

This game is awesome...everything is redone and perfected. Thanks Sliver-X and Thaddeus for a truly great hack! I'm still around level 10, so, back to playing! |

Edit by DD:
For those who haven't followed this hack over the years, this is a compelte remake of Final Fantasy 1 for NES. It's the sequel to the highly acclaimed Dragoon X Omega (a hack of Dragon Warrior). It has brand new music, some ASM hacking, extensive graphics, map and just a complete overhaul of a hack. Definitely worth a look. end DD edit Patch |
