Mainly just the X style of patterns.
What is the reason of lacing them up fancy? Nobody is going to notice them. |

I do not recall the last time I tied my shoes I do recall, however, how I do it. First I cross the laces per normal method, then I make loops. I then cross the loops; forming a bow. I pull them through, and they're tied. I often repeat this to double tie them, and they never fall apart. The only problem is, when I'm running, my right shoe tends to fall off.
Never my left. Always right. |

Im confussed looking at your pic.
I just do mine in the standard "X." I am just to lazy to be fancy... |

Mine are in a sort of Z formation.. I'd get a picture. But I can't seem to pinch the camera while dad's home. XD |

Mine are done up in the usual "X" fashion, but I remember I wore my old pair of Sambas so much the laces actually broke near the knot. |

I, like many other people, lace my shoes in the typical, tight, single X fashion. I've never even considered doing anything fancy with them. Oh, and on a side note, I am wearing the EXACT same type of socks as in the image. |

I X mines twice ... to ensure the the laces don't come back off, anyway. |

If the laces are good, you should only have to tie them once.
Of course, I'm lazy when it comes to fixing the laces so I do have times where everything just comes apart. And slip-ons are a possibility but I haven't found any I like. |

Originally posted by HyperMackerel I wore slip-ons as a kid, and loved them. Good old Vans. But that was only cuz I couldn't tie them tight enough to not come undone. Now I can, so... |

Mine are laced in the usual X pattern. I really don't concern myself with that; as long as they don't come untied often, it's good enough for me. |

Screw laces. Slip-ons are faster and don't come untied while you're walking. The last pair of shoes I had with laces, I had to triple-knot them to keep them from coming undone. |

Similar to that but instead of 3-wide I do 1. I figured that was the norm.
Course I always tend to double-tie my laces. I hate flat tires. |

Mine are currently laced normally, but very loosely. The actual "tie" part of the shoelace is very loose as well.
My shoes are really sandals and I'm the only one who knows. ...shit, now other people know. |

Normal Xing shoelaces for me...
Then again, there WAS a point in which I had straps instead of shoelaces... I even crossed those sometimes |

I just tie them in normal X pattern.
I am far too lazy to think up or actually execute any fancy stuff. |

I like your socks..... Anyways, I just have my shoelaces so the go straight like:
_______ _______ _______ . |

My former roommate informed me once that apparently it's the style of the Canadian Military to lace their boots in a ladder formation, rather than x's. |
