I work at an ice cream shop. It's easy work, the ice cream is amazing, and I get kickass tips every night. Only downside is that my manager is a bit of a nutcase.

I work at a restaurant (used to work at two until my shifts interfered with one another and I had to drop one) waiting tables. I'd rather cook, but you know, they won't trust a kid back there D= I get okay pay but thats because I work the hours no one else really wants to and I get tips too..but, its hard work.

My current job requires no skills or intelligence. Maybe it's sad that I like it. It's what most people would call a "clerk". It's boring most of the time. I do, however, get to rent free movies and games. You see I work at Hollywood Video. Basically at my job I watch movies and tell customers that they need to pay late fees. The pay is certainly awful and it's still worth it.

Man I wish I had a real job. If you find a job outside of retail take it and never look back.

For the past three years, I've been a web developer. I handle all aspects of web-based application programming - interface design and coding, database design, planning and coding server-side scripts and libraries, etc. I liked my job at first, but due to various factors (long story short - like pretty much everyone else there, I was overworked and significantly underpaid), I started looking elsewhere. It took me a while to find another job in my field because the market around here sucks and I don't want to move. (My ogre has a great job, and we own a house and are generally happy with the area.) I've accepted a position at another company, where I'll be doing the same sort of work but making literally 40% more money, and I'll get a nice vacation allowance after a while, too. I'M THE MAN NOW DOG.

Best job I ever had... Probably the good old days at Patrick's. Minimum Wage, but I pulled in 24 hours a week (which is the perfect number to get by comfortably). It's a kitchen, so I ate lots of food, heh. My boss is a great guy and I love almost all of my coworkers. ('Cept one, but he can go to hell.)

Worst job... Capri Linen. Or Helen's Delicatessen. Both of them were fucking slave drivers with shitty attitudes. I'd have to go with Capri, though, 'cos at Helen's even though they were bitchy old Polish ladies (if you've ever had an experience with an old Polish lady, you'd understand the significance of listing her nationality.) the work was easy. At Capri I nearly cried my second day walking home, I hurt so bad.
Needless to day, my second day was my last day.

So, what's yours?

Do you hate it/love it/don't care?

Worst/best job you've ever had?

I'm self employed, I own my own online business for cosplayers http://www.kawaiiwigs.net

I'm also a full-time college student. It's so so, I enjoy doing it, just wish I had 1000% more business.

The worst job I've ever had is the one I just quit earlier this month at CVS pharmacy as a shift supervisor. Pay was shitty, atmosphere was shitty, people were shitty. I got food poisoning and they refused to let me call out, so I quit. XD

The best job was probably Gamestop, shitty pay, but wonderful atmosphere and fantastic people to work with. If I hadn't moved from Maryland to Georgia, I'd still be working there.
