It's a result of using the VBB-Like thread layout. No problem, it only takes a few more clicks to reach the proper place to send them PMs. So just don't use that layout if it is really getting in your hair. |

What thread layout are you using? Let me switch to it... *checks your profile* Edit: Okay, yeah. The thread layout you're using (VBB) is the only one (or one of a few) that even have those links, and it's not too popular of a layout. I doubt anything will be done, so... just switch to regular or something. Or ignore it. |

Is it in their post layout? if so, you need to PM them directly - it's their layotu that's at fault. |

When you click "Send PM" at the bottom of someone's post, the resulting URL does not have ".php" in it, and you get a 404. |
