I'm not sure how thick your pizza is, but that sounds like pretty little in any case (Swedish pizza is thin). As for the dogs, you don't really have to use force, you just need to show them who's the boss. But you don't want them to think only you're the boss either, that brings problems for everyone else .

Seriously, try the chicken wire thing. They can't dig through it and when it's covered in dirt no one will even know it's there.

Was it a big dog? Because that'd be funny just for the amount of effort involved.

Now I'm left with an eighth of pizza to call my entire lunch.

I would've had to assume the whole thing was contaminated.

Well, then... I can see how that would piss you off. ;;

I'm not complaining. If I wanted to be warranted to complain, I should probably put more effort into fixing it. Nor am I tryin' to one-up you or anything. It just never ceases to amaze me how the people with the least amount of real problems are the ones to get the most upset at the most trivial of shit.

Motherfarking pissed? And not just motherfarking pissed, but MOTHERFARKING PISSED, in all caps? Ok, your mutt ate your pizza, that blows. But it's a dumbass animal fulfilling one of it's instinctual, mindless-mutt needs. And in the end... It's only pizza. There's a near-endless supply of the stuff and it's pretty easy to come across, too.

As for the hole... If they dug one, and you filled it, and they dug a new one, fill it with something they can't dig through. I'll spare the ideas, 'cos there's lots of good ones floating around already.

And put your pizza on a counter that they can't reach. I learned that many years ago with my dog.

Or how about even one of those big bricks? I dont even know how big his dogs are but assuming how he said stuff im guessing there big. So I would try a good sized brick.

If you don't want your dogs digging out there's a VERY simple solution. Go buy yourself some chicken wire at your local co-op or farm supply store or... your hardware store will probably even have it. Wal-Mart might. Lay it out at the edge of the fence (maybe even under it a bit if you can) and throw dirt on top of it. They'll try to dig a few times, hit the wire, and realize that they can't get through it and it hurts to try and that'll be the end of that.

Don't worry, I throw like ass; he's dumb enough to enjoy it more than anything else.

And, of course, I'm back to petting the damn thing; so...

You people have stupid dogs

My dog never goes potty in the house, never leaves the yard, and pretty much never does anything wrong. I can take him on walks without a leash. He stays right by me and listens to everything I tell him.

It's all about training. You have to show you're dominant and they'll listen. Go watch "Dog Whisperer" on Discovery Channel.

The pizza being eaten was your fault for leaving it there. I know how annoying it can be when dogs escape and run off and you get blamed for them being able to dig and spend 4 hours wandering around in the hot sun looking for them.

Yeah, some more on the other side, maybe, too. They can't dig through bricks.

Put generic bricks above the hole/fence.

Several of them.

Give them away then, if they're too much of a hassle. Train them to be more obedient through obedience school. Give them some painkiillers in their food. There's bound to be something that should help you, but I say put chicken wire around the entire fence.

They're in a yard and they keep digging out over and over; I fill in one hole and they make a new one.
