Yeah, I'm surprised at all the sugary cereal too. We have some sugary cereals here, but nothing to the apparent extent I hear of in this and the other cereal thread.

Besides, if I want to eat something unhealthy for breakfast, I'll make myself buttermilk pancakes with chocolate chips in them

Thanks for reminding me about the old Pokemon Cereal....

Geez... we really don't get many cereals with marshmallows. There are some good limited edition ones we sometimes buy... like Froot Loops with marshmallows for Halloween. Very sweet but very good.

I don't like cereal.

So that would be a no.

Doesn't really matter to me, but when it comes to Marshmallows, Lucky Charms and Smorz are at the top of the list.

I like cereal in general, to be honest. Marshmellows are okay, but I find that most cereals stick them in to compensate for a late of good taste anyway. I always found Lucky Charms and Alpha-Bits to taste a bit like bits of wet cardboard sans mashmellows, personally.

I'd have to say I'm a big fan of Captain Crunch(of all varieties) and Corn Pops. The Honey Oat Crunch cereal that Post makes it good too, just ungodly expensive

Yeah. Oatmeal is quite boring; mainly when you eat it day after day ...

You fail at life for thinking cereal fails at life It beats any other breakfast thing, especially oatmeal. And theres lot of different flavours. Whats not to like about it?

As for me, the only cereal I ever ate with marshmallows was Lucky Charms. Hell, I would ONLY eat the marshmallows. That was long ago though ... now all I eat is Fruit Loops and Honey Nut Cheerios....mmmmm...

I buy one type of cereal.

You just can't go wrong with Wheaties. They're the !#$^@$# breakfast of champions.

Yep. It's nice, but the aftertaste tends to be a bit gross.

craig3410, you're supposed to eat cereal with milk. It makes it a whole lot better, and softens up those "stale" marshmallows.

Lucky Charms is all right, as is Marshmallow Alpha-Bits. However, having marshmallows is in no way a necessity for making a good cereal. On another note, does anyone else here "eat around" the marshmallows while you chow down on the normal cereal, then eat all the marshmallows afterwards? It somehow ends up tasting really nice, in my opinion.

Most of the time, I might get Cheerios and stick some fruit up in there. Whether it's cut up bannana slices and apples to blue berries. Never really felt in the mood for marshmallows, however. Peanut Butter Chrunch is awesome!

I buy my cereals based on whatever I feel like eating. If I want marshmallows in it, then I'll get something with marshmallows. Most of the time I just end up buying Cheerios.

I used to eat cereal with marshamallows a lot. My favorite of them was the Alphabits with marshmallows that they stopped making.

Do I look for them? Not usually. But Lucky Charms is a force to be reckoned with.

Lesser cereals with marshmallows are usually foul, b/c they haven't been doing the marshmallow thing as long as the LC.

No; cereal marshmallows are too hard and stale.

Real marshmallows & Rice Krispies, however...
