Never seen the show. But yeah, you could tell just from watching the previews that the movie was going to be rather critically unacclaimed. Because I've seen about 5 different previews for it, and none of them even came close to explaining what this film could possibly be about. Because if they did, it'd probably deter people from spending their hard-earned money on watching it. They just wanted what the movie was based on to sell itself, and that was just a huge red flag for me.
My girlfriend was totally suckered into falling for the previewed special effects though, so I'll probably end up having to watch this against my will as a rental. I guess I'll try to keep an open mind. Wouldn't be the first time I liked a movie when everyone else thinks it sucks. |

If so: just konw that while the movie itself might have been decent enough on it's own, the movie as a developement in the Aeon Flux series was just a terrible step backward. Taking a really provacative, visually and otherwise, groundbreaking cartoon and urning it into just another run of the mill hollywood special effects action crapfest is disgraceful. |

I saw the movie two nights ago, I actually really enjoyed it. Not knowing anything about the movie I guess I couldn't compare it to the cartoons.
I thought the effects and action scenes were good, I did wish their was more in it though, kind of short, but it was a good watch  |

The game is already out.  No I haven't played it but I've seen it in stores. Too bad they didn't stay with how the animated version went storyline-wise. I was hoping that it would have been a good movie but all I hear is that it sucks.  |

You know, I only watched Aeon Flux because Heat Guy J was always on right after.

For the record, I would like to say that this was probably the shittiest movie I have ever seen in my entire life. The plot, was so amazingly bad, everything else about the movie was asspowered.
Yeah, previews made it look interesting, and I was curious about it. But, wow. I guess it was worth it though. My friends and I walked out dying from laughter because we all agreed "Wow, that was probably the worst movie I've ever seen". It was bad. I'd give it a 0 out of 5. Heh. |

I saw a few episodes of the cartoon and found it to be pretty interesting. I doubt the movie will live up to it but it should be good nonetheless. I'm just gonna wait till it comes out on DVD to watch it. |

The special effects and what not look pretty good. Hell, they look awesome. However, the movie as a whole looks pretty bad. So I might see it, but probably not. |

I could imagine though... overpaid hollywood jackasses start playing in video game-based movies or cult classic remixes and say, "Oh yeah, I like totally ruined it for those nerds! What a bunch of losers!". I hope it's not as disappointing as Doom. |

I remember overlooking Aeon Flux at the Hollywood Video several times. Yeah, that movie is definately on my "have to see" list. |
