Yay for Press Your Luck!

It's still my favorite game show, although I don't watch it much anymore. I just loved watching those silly Whammies try to take the players' money. Most of them were downright hilarious ("Hold it, Fang, hold it! Don't forget the money!"), making for one zany game show. Sadly, Whammy didn't live up to the original, although it was a decent game in its own right.

I remember a member on the first incarnation of this board called El Whammy; he registered shortly after I did. I don't think he still comes here though...

Are there any Press Your Luck fans here? PYL is a famous 80's gameshow created in '83 which three contestants go to the big board to earn money and avoid creatures called Whammies. I'm a big fan of PYL, and I say it was better than Whammy! The All New PYL. It's pretty good for those who haven't seen it, it comes on GameShow Network everyday at 12:30 p.m.
