It's Ray Romano holding my teddy bear. Like Bounder said, there was a Saturday Night Live skit where he was a sportscaster and his catch phrase was, "SWEET SASSY MOLASSY!!" (in case you didn't feel like watching the video)
I thought it was clever =P

Plus I decided that if Kasumi has the monopoly on Kas for short, I may as well be Kassy then, even though I usually hate it when my old net friends call me that =P

It's from a genius SNL skit where Ray Romano does a parody of an ESPN sportscenter announcer. Let's see what google has to offer:

Found it

I've decided to just try to trade it with someone for something I'd rather have.

Well I'd never do that. You bought it to watch it and own it. As much as I dislike wal-mart, that's still not right.

There are plenty of places that do buy used movies off you for a reduced price, though. Blockbuster, for example, takes used movies for $5-$10 so they can sell them for $10-15. Profit for them and at least a partial refund for you.

I'll have it be known that ...most of us were wearing some sort of eyewear for protection. God forbid we do something foolish =P

I just bought a movie from Wal-Mart and after having watched it, don't think it'll have any re-watch value. Would it be wrong for me to try to exchange it?

I have a pile of books seven deep that I have yet to read and WANT to read... I'll look into Neil Gaiman after I get through my books.

As for the fire situation, Kas... ! Ahh, roman candles. They're always such a delight until people start pointing them at each other.

But hey, if it was an agreed fight, then I don't see why it's your fault. He know the risks and now he's paying!

Nice aim

*Hopes you looked up Neil.* He's probably my favourite author so I have everything he's ever published. Good stuff.

Should I feel bad about burning a friend's new shirt when we were all voluntarily involved in a roman candle war?

Juice: Definitely apple. I called apple juice "happy juice" when I was little. <3 Never really cared for orange juice, though I love oranges.

I suppose I'll look him up on wiki tomorrow, but it's off to bed with me now.

Neil Gaiman was the god behind the creation of Mirrormask. I'd recommend seeing it, if you haven't already.

He also did the Sandman graphic novels, wrote the book 'American Gods', and the Babylon 5 episode "Day of the Dead" (one of the lesser alien races in B5, the Gaim, were named after him).

He's also got a whole lot more fantastic work under his belt, but if I wanted to list everything, I would've just copied the wikipedia article.

Juice: orange or apple?

How did you come to running the mosts? Was there a thread in Private Area a year or so ago asking for a volunteer, and you took it?

Not really. I helped Ashley host it last winter mosts, because counting the votes is definitely not a one person job. I enjoyed being a part of it so much that next time it came around, I jumped right in and offered to host. Ashley didn't want to anymore, and nobody else seemed to be jumping for it... so I did it, and Kattwah helped me count. This year I began the staff discussion, and I think it was just assumed I'd be hosting. Don't know who will help me count, but I've had plenty of offers, plus Xk saying he'd run them through a counting program if I just tally them up out from the thread to a txt file. We'll see how that goes. But I really enjoy hosting them.

Do you sleep with a fan on at night? If you do, is it a celing fan, or a stand-alone? And again, if you do it, do you do it for the white noise, or for the actual function of the fan?

I do sleep with a fan. Every single night, if I want to sleep at all, there is a fan on in my room. In the summer, when it's really hot in my house (we have no AC) I use it both for its typical use AND the white noise... but for the rest of the year, it's just for the noise. I can't sleep in silence, and I can't sleep with music or I'll just stay up all night singing along.

What's your opinion on the Lord of the Rings series, if you've ever read them?

Never read them. I saw the first two movies though, and eh. I can definitely see why people love it, and I'm sure the books are better than the movie, but it's just not something I ever got into, and I have no interest in changing that. I love Harry Potter, I'll just stick to that. <3

And on a side note, what is your most favorite book?

My favorite book... that's pretty tough. The Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger is definitely near the top of my list, as is Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer. I've read them both multiple times, and love them more and more every time. Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder is also a favorite, because I love philosophy. And I can't forget the classics, like Animal Farm by George Orwell and Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. And Harry Potter of course.
There's also a book I'm currently reading, called The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene. It's about the string theory and all the hype surrounding it, and it's very very interesting. But I'm not that far into it yet, so I'll have to hold back calling it "a favorite" for the time being.

Then, in that case, I'll have to think of some questions. Give me a bit of time to think of a few; I'm a bit off-balance, apparently (reference for progeny).

Here's one, while my mind is on the mosts. How did you come to running the mosts? Was there a thread in Private Area a year or so ago asking for a volunteer, and you took it?

...

Ah, this is a bit more difficult than I thought... (5 minutes later)

This one's a bit random. It only occured to me because I happened to notice my bedside fan. Do you sleep with a fan on at night? If you do, is it a celing fan, or a stand-alone? And again, if you do it, do you do it for the white noise, or for the actual function of the fan?

Now if only I could think of a third question, I believe that would be enough to kick-start this thread again.

(10 minutes later...)

What's your opinion on the Lord of the Rings series, if you've ever read them? Almost everyone I've asked about it has told me they're some of the greatest books ever, but I simply can't get into them. And it's strange too, I like other fantasy-genre books, such as Artemis Fowl (albeit that series is set much farther ahead in the future), but... I've said it already.

And on a side note, what is your most favorite book?

I usually pronounce them too, but not all of them. rofl = roffle (like waffle), lmao = elmayo, lol = el oh el, wtf = whathefffff. ...I sort of slur it and skip the cussing.

Go ahead Kas, make a recording.

rofl.

I'm going to have to do this at least once, just for you.

But do I spell out things like "rofl" or do I make a word out of it?

I tend to pronounce them as words in my mind.

If you want to record all your posts and just post the sound file, GO FOR IT. I would be incredibly entertained, to say the least.
This is a long thread. Click here to view it.
