Yes, we do. For example, I just load up small playlists at a time and change them when I feel like hearing another song. Also, sometimes I watch videos with Winamp. In this case I can't minimize Wimamp to the tray.

That makes it inconvenient to access, though. There's no need to be a space nazi when it comes to the taskbar.

Says you. Do you guys really need to open Winamp that often? I just open it, load a playlist with like 6 hours worth of music on it, and hit play. The Global Hotkeys features eliminiates 99% of the need to use the interface at all.
(Plus, I have a second monitor I can stick it on. )

Usually I havve 2-3 windows open... Explorer, jEdit, and Internet explorer opening a page on my hard drive, or otherwise about 1... the most I ever had was 7, when I was doing some GFX ripping from Kirby Super Star, and was veiwing all the SMW-sized GFX files.
Taskbar Image

There's also usually 3 system tray icons... gone because I had bene running scandisk.

mIRC, mIRC, Firefox, Winamp, 0-1 AIM Window(s), 2-5 MSN Windows, JLookUp in the task bar. In tray there's Azureus, MSN, AIM, Pulse, Daemon Tools, NetLimiter and SigX. I usually settle with a minimum of 5 tabs in Firefox, and very rarely go above 10.

I have a minimum of 15 internet explorer windows active while at work and about 5 additional programs. Plus I have to deal with the phone options

Mind you, most of the time I'm on OSX and I just don't care about the amount of windows I have open.

I don't like that because I can't Alt-Tab to Winamp...

Why would I *want* to, though?

About as crowded as it gets.

And I hate anything other than a horizontal taskbar, on the bottom of the screen.

I may start a quick-launch bar though, it sounds like it could be handy.

That's the reason why we turn that off. The fact that the "interface" the group selector has sucks doesn't help either. On a related note, I personally don't like quick launchl; it just seems to get in the way more than it helps.

Also, it's pi time in that shot.

Me on an extremely slow night. Yes I do use it all. >.> There's usually 30 something windows up.

Yeah, I had to disable that grouping thing because otherwise I'd end up with 6 of the same window open.

Seriously though, I have 17 quick launch icons, 8 tray icons, 2 toolbars, the clock with date, and still enough room for probably 30 windows.

Umm... 2 toolbars? What do you mean by that? Did you just bring your toolbar width by 1?

Look here - see the "Desktop" and "Ideas and shit" arrows? Those are toolbars; clicking on them brings up a list of files in various places for quick access. It's awesome combining the Desktop toolbar with custom desktop icons - I can do just about any task from the Desktop toolbar.

That's pure laziness! You're to lazy to close them so they stay open, then laziness kicks in AGAIN, and you don't search for it and just open another one!
If I was just one little bit more lazy, I'd be too lazy too finish typing. One of the reasons I have so few windows is because I'm too lazy too open them in the frist place

a lot of it is just me being lazy, not closing a window, then forgetting which one I needed and opening a new one (this happens rather often with explorer windows)

though some windows generally serve good purposes -- one of those irfanview windows (hint: top) is serving as my screenshot-taker

Yeah he has to be the best multi-tasker ever. How do you really keep track of all of that?
