I have a strange pattern. I wake up about 6am, go to school, go to sleep at about 10am, wake up about 10:50am, have lunch, go home, go to sleep at 4pm, wake up at 7pm and then go to sleep at about 3/4am. I have about 4 to 5 hours sleep at day. I'm knackered as always. |

Meh... my sleep patterns are very random. I'm usually a night owl-ish during the summer but once I'm back in college after summer ends then my sleep times are gonna change drastically. |

My sleep schedule is usually messed up and night owl-ish, but being in Vegas has multiplied that by like 5. |

If I'm well, I'll simply sleep about 5-9 hours.
Usually, I feel uncomfortable when the room is 70 degrees or higher and I'll wake up around 2 or 3 am to get a slice of lunchmeat and some milk. Sometimes i'll down some whiskey to make me go to sleep. When I'm really having a hard time, I'll get odd, random episodes where I'll toss and turn, switch from dreams and reality and itch my face violently. This results in the covers all over the floor, me freezing in cold sweat and essentially feeling like crap the next day. I think this comes from too much junkfood. |

During the school year, its pretty much 11 PM to 6:30 AM
During the SUMMER... Its 12AM to anywhere between 8AM and 12PM... Id prefer not to wake up at 12PM... but... sometimes it just happens because I dont normally fall asleep that easily. |

I usually sleep at fairly regular times. Usually 12am-8am. I got school and work and things I need to do, so I rarely get to stay in bed longer than that. |

I actually prefer less sleep per day... I like to sleep around 4 a.m. because I stay up with friends who have late work schedules, and then get up around 10 a.m. because any later and the day feels wasted and half-over. |

What's a "sleep pattern", again? |

My sleep pattern these days is crap.
Basically there's two variables: X, which is the time I actually fall asleep, and Y, which is the time I wake up. The crap part is that each day these two are re-defined with values I don't know and will not figure out until I wake up the next day only not to know what they'll be until next morning again. The good part is that it's just that way in summer and during holiday season break because I got nothing really important (or nothing, period) to do during these times. When college starts again this fall, chances are that'll have a bit more control over my sleep time since I will have to make sure I must go to bed early and wake up early. If not, then it'll be sleep pills time. |

During the summer, I usually go to bed around 1 or 2 AM and wake up (if no one bothers me) around noon.
During the school year, I go to bed around 10 PM and wake up at 6:30 AM. |

During summer and school I tend to go to bed after 1:00 am (To be specific 1-2:30am), and wake up around 11 or 12:00 pm.
Back then, a few months ago (even up till a few weeks ago) I was going to bed around 3 am but I don't do that anymore. For one, I tend to do nothing at that hour except read and secondly, a friend of mine doesn't like when I stay up late. |

You should see his hello thread....has to have the most thought I have ever seen ever I like my sleep pattern. In the summer, I'm up til midnight-1am, or if I'm doing something fun or productive, 2-3am. In the morning, I usually wake up at 7-10, go for a bike ride, then sit on the computer for a while. (can't live without my bike ride) During school, I'm in bed by 11:00 PM, and I typically fall asleep by 11:15. However, some nights I just can't get to sleep til like 2 am, and it bugs me. On weekends, I'm up til midnight like, always. And that's it I guess |

Depression is no fun.
I have to watch it sometimes. But I make a point every day to find some tiny little thing that makes me happy and then I make a point to say "Hey, there's a good reason to be happy." That sounds cheesy as all hell, but it really helps brighten my outlook. |

During the school year the weekends are like my summer days. On the weekdays though, I go to bed around 10 PM+ and wake up between 6 - 7 AM. I normally don't go to bed past midnight unless I have a lot of work that I need to do before the next day. One time that caused me to be up until 2 AM. I don't like having to get up in the morning. It's not that I don't get enough sleep the night before. It's more of the fact that my body doesn't like to get up early unless I've had some 14+ hours of sleep. That's probably the only problem I have with school is that I have to get up early. I like late nights and sleeping in. That's how I live. |

Originally posted by Kasdarack Yeah, it's messing with my general productivity too. I feel like I'm not doing a great job at work lately cause I'm tired, miserable and distracted, and outside of work I'm not achieving anything because I'm tired... miserable and distracted. Actually, a fair amount of my general cheerfulness can be tied to my productivity, a sense of achievement and the like. If I'm not sleeping, I tend to not do things I should, and then I feel down Or it could just be that I'm slipping into Depression again, but I hope not. |

Right now during my summer vacation, going to bed between 2 am - 4 am and waking up between 9:30am - noon is quite common for me. I usually stay up late because I like the fact that it is very quiet at night since everyone else is asleep.
In the school year, I have to be in bed by 10:30pm and I wake up at 6:15 am on school days always. Weekends, I end up falling asleep around midnight to 2am depending if it's a Friday night or Saturday night. I can wake up around 7am to 9am without the alarm clock because I'm use to waking up pretty early during ths school year. It's safe to say that I'm happy with my sleep pattern as of now. |
