I've always preffered Pink Floyd with Syd Barrett to Pink Floyd without. |

Without him, Pink Floyd would never have started and music would be very different today. Pink Floyd have been a significant influence and impact in the world of music since he formed the band back in the late 60's, and without them - as I said before - music today would be very different, as would many other aspects. Just think about how many bands would sound different or not even exist if pink floyd had never existed. It's just a little worrying that many people have never heard of him before. Anyway. To syd: shine on you crazy diamond! Time to listen to Piper at the Gates of Dawn as a bit of a tribute, methinks. |
