If being annoying were against the law, i'd be serving a life sentence with no parole... |

I just meant a law in general that specifically said "You will go to jail if you are caught being annoying", not that law. Like, infinite room for interpretation of the definition of annoying, would lead the law down the self-contradictory path.
I do see what you meant though Danielle; I should have made it clearer I meant a separate law. |

But see, that's where people take it out of context. It says not to LOITER in a fashion that can be found annoying, there is nothing in there about not making annoying laws. |

I'd think a law outlawing outright annoying someone would contradict itself, because some wise-cracker would surely sue city hall for annoying them with the fact that they can't annoy people. |

I'm sure there are similar laws here in regards to loitering and such. The word "annoy" is commonly used I think, although I think the word "harass" is appearing more now. |

The law is just saying that loitering can be found annoying (I agree), so don't do it. Just clarifying, for those that would try and claim they didn't know what it meant. |

Yeah. It doesn't really pertain to annoyance in general, neo |

The important part of that law is at the beginning. |
