I'm just lucky I can play Snes; Sega; and GBA. I have Direct X 9.0c (newest version) and Windows XP. I did try the Direct X plugin (supposedly ran off of Direct X 9) but it didn't work either
Anyways; I'm gonna get a job next year, buy a PS3, and get a new PC. Then transfer everything to my new PC (probably a cheap, yet new $400 Dell) and then my old one can go to hell!!!!! Not really though; as it has a good CD burner.

That title is already given to the GeForce MX Series, because they just suck. And the very first graphics cards are much worse than the ATI Rage Pro.

By the way; does anyone know if the new project 64 1.7 beta supports more games/fixes major problems? Also, if anyone has this downloaded, um, well, I don't have $20 to donate to them..... *cough* pm me *cough*

project64 has the most compatibility overall. But certain emulators excel than others. i think Corn ran Mario64 quite well...

Corn may not be accurate, but it's damn fast. If the game you want to play runs in it, then have fun.

Upgrading is not an optionfor a $55-a-month income. Anyways, do you have any emu suggestions as well?

A P2 will get you buy. I was able to run decently N64 on my P2-400 with 16MiB Riva TNT. The more system and video ram you have, the better your emulation experience will be. But upgrading your processor to something more modern wouldn't hurt either.

I've recently gotten a slightly better computer than my old pentium, which I've hooked into a network with it... what I'm wondering is; what system specs should I need to emulate N64 reasonably well? I have:

Pentium II 350Mhz.
64MB of RAM (Going to add in a thrid RAM stick)
8(+?)MB AGP video card, 3D
Logitech Rumblepad 2 USB gamepad
16-bit ISA ESS Audiodrive 1868(7?) WDM

And I'd like to know which emu I should get, or if I need a better computer than that first.
