This talk about the file being too big reminded me of a program I created to cheat the attachment size restriction. The concept wasn't new. Programs for slicing files have been around for a long time. Back then they were useful for moving files that were larger than a floppy could hold. My slicer was particularly suited to this board, because the slices would be output as a set if IPS patches. When all of the IPS patches would be applied to an empty file, the result would be the original too big file.

I never released it or used to upload a file. I don't remember finishing it. I think it still had some hardcoded information that needed to be turned into run time parameters.

Yeah. I'm interested in this text file, by the way. Post it again, even if it is too long. Or at least tell us what it was. I'm curious, you know?
