Well this rumor is thwarted. I guess the only thing that could prove us wrong would be Nintendo saying the rumor is true, but what are the chances of that?
If I find anyine else spreading this lie, all i have to do is direct him to this thread. I'm glad we got this over with. |

This is all the beta pics we've got so my theory is that Rain bow road was not programmed untill the end. Either that or it was nintendo's "TOP SECRET RACEWAY" that had to be kept secret untill the end. |

Those pictures are from the final one. Everything looks the same as the final release. That E in the first shot is from Warios tires. He is doing one of those boosts. |

All right, hopefully this is the last post of this thread. Here are two beta Pics of MK64 Rainbow Road Beta.
Does it look anything like rainbow road DS? NO! It looks kinda' like... well what do you know... it looks like the final release... other than that weird E in pic one. These pictures are from when the game was called MKR and Donkey kong was a Magikoopa. This should settle it. No beta in the DS. No beta in the 64 rom. |

Ive never seen pictures or heard of a beta Rainbow Road in Mario Kart 64... but if there is one and it was shorter than the final MK64 Rainbow Road, Nintendo should be shot. |

I never heard of a beta Rainbow Road on Mario Kart. It is probably just a fake rumor. If you beleive this is true please post some pictures. |

I did some research and the only thing I came up with is that maio kart DS' rainbow road is actually the beta of mario kart 64's rainbow road. This is probably what made Yoshi ask this. |

Im 99% sure there is no way to play it. I used to be in the gameshark community big time, and there were plenty of level codes and stuff, I think there may have been one beta battle level that had a code. From what I remember, no beta rainbow road. I also dont remember anyone even saying there was one, or that there were pictures, or even rumors of one. From my point of view, this is the same as asking "Can I get to the Electric Temple in Ocarina of Time?" since it never existed in the first place. |

You could get it if you hack a little so that the beta one will show up instead of the retail one, if it is in the rom at all and they didn't cut it out at all. |
