GROUP HACKS ARE A NO-NO!!
I beleave I recall saying this before (only more elaberate) in someone elses group hack topic... *searches for link* EDIT: Here it is... Yes cruel critisism... then again, I was less mature (and his custom gfx were tacky as hell [no offence :/]). And if you check the directors Bio, you'll notace said group hack is on hold. Which is what group hacks become. Unless Your all telekenetically linked, something will give and the pit of dispair know as failure will open. STill... there is a small chance you'll manage to pull through. You just a straight story, good gfx (not quite Icegoom good, but try to keep the normal gfx if you cant do better), and the OW should be made when everyone is done level contribution. So... PM me for an uber "old-gfx" Overworld when your done organizing the levels :p | ||||||||||||||||||||

I'm doing an outdoor cave level. It takes place in both night and day. I'll have to use 3 levels to pull it off, since the secondary exits I use always end up being screwed up. I might use 2 if I can manage to fix the secondary exits. It will use 2 extra Map16 spaces, which are vertically flipped right and left corners for colliding walls and ground.
[EDIT]: I fixed the secondary exit system, so I just have to add sprites and the goal, and the level will be done. Example: empty| ----- / (Slash indicates tile that's flipped and turned) I will be using the exact same tileset and graphics for sprites and objects as Level 105 (Yoshi's Island 1). It will use non-interactive layer 2 objects. Nearly finished. It'll probably take you more than 200 seconds, since I tested it in a way that's faster than people who don't know what's in the level. Only need to add a few more enemies. | ||||||||||||||||||||

There is, 1 vote, against this idea. XD I was totally caught by surprise.
Now then, to everybody that might not know what I want. Here is some guidelines that I might include. > 8 levels maximum. (This might expand depending on the end product.) > Please, make level flow the essential plan. Keep levels themed in a certain way. > I am going to accept only 2 fortress levels to use. (1 if the level I obtain is small) > Do not want Ghost Houses. > It should take me more then 200 seconds (In-game time) to complete your level. I recommend the time limit set between 400~600 seconds. If it's any longer, I will dislike it. > Include 5 dragon coins in your level. > No Yoshi, no Feather. I will pick A level to insert one of either. > Have at least 1 powerup in your level. > If you have questions, consult me. > No message box. Your credit will be included in the credits screen after beating the game and in the readme file. > I will make the overworld depending on the levels I pick. ....off to sleep. | ||||||||||||||||||||
