I'm thinking in learning ASM to make my ideas actually possible...

I was thinking that if this can edit mario's fireballs you can make fire flower to be ice flower or whatever comes in your mind very easily, for example to make an ice flower you simply change the collision with enemies and maybe the direction they go or bombs that go first up and then down (can be done by simply editing the movement) and when it hits something they explode or whatever thing.

Hacking is taking something and changing it, so why not SMW to DK?

Geez, and i did not mean Donkey Kong country, i mean DK with Mario, it could work with plenty of hacking.

Do you really want it to always be just SMW to other Mario game?

I don't think you do and i for one do not either.

I would think not, why not a mix of Castlevania and Mario?

But like i said, nothing wrong with ideas you know.

More originality == Better hacks.

Nope, I don't think they're going over the top. Some of these ideas simply won't pan out, and the ones that do can add some very neat new enemies to the game, and new gameplay.

Not mega mole; monty mole, silly. I also said "small". Mega moles are huge.

Plus you can make them lethal to jump on just by checking a box. That goes for Monty as well as Mega.

It's possible to make a small bully using monty mole and Hyperhacker's Reconfigurer. It's still lethal when you hit it though...

It would be possible to make a bully from SM64, and it would be easy. change Chuck's graphics to a bully and instead of hurting Mario move him fast in a direction like the moving blocks in blocktool.

As for anything from N64, do not count on it.

As for the n64 guy, he doesn't have to be 100% acurate, you'd just have his GFX in 2d and have the on in SMW most acurate to him for reference, then change atrabutes. But it's only a suggestion. But a real suggestion actually it would be better if the sleeping parahna plants from Sm64 was on sprite tool, be easier to acomplish then the stone whomps w bandages.

If there's a way to edit Mario's powerups, we could add new ones without replacing the old ones. for example let's say we want Fire flower, cape and ice flower, we could create the sprite of the ice flower that sets Mario's status to a value. Then we copy the fire mario's data in that value and edit it to create the ice mario.

But that would be very hard I guess... and maybe the data corresponding to the values of mario's power is used by other things...

The talking sprite would not be difficult at all.

Just... If collision with mario, mariop is on ground, and say, X button pressed, setmessage box text.

I was thinking if it would be possible to make characters that don't attack you but speak. For example make a koopa stand and when you get close to it and press a button it displays the message of the level like the talking block (which I think it's an sprite). It doesn't seem too hard...

another idea would be a sprite that acts exactly as Luigi, except it can't carry powerups and the camera doesn't move with him. That would be used to make a 2 player game.

Or "evil characters" That have the same moves as the playable characters but more powerful. But this would require awesome ASM skills...

Or even the different watermelons from Yoshi's Island...
