I've never considered this board very good. There are so many annoying little problems with it that drive me insane. Besides, I go to 4 better communities on a daily basis. |

This board rules in the rom hacking aspect, and that's why i chose to register. I also like the creativity of some members in making hacks and how funny their hacks are, which shows the quality that can be achieved in rom hacking. The bad thing were the holes in the previous forum.

Imagine this board if it never restarted... take Newgrounds for example. NGBBS has been running since 1999, it has THOUSANDS almost a million members but alot of them are little 12-year old twirps that pose as 15-18 year olds. I'm actually thankful for the board restarting... more than once... I hope we gain more quality members that don't just say, "helo my nem am pokemonashketchum5, liek gimmie an awnser 2 maek mi smw hak plz kthnx". I've actually grown to like this board a little more despite my grizzly reputation in the older boards. It's good to start a new slate. |

This board has had to start from scratch a few too many times. It could have stats like that if it were the same board it was in 2000.
Oh well.  It will grow again, no worries. |

Clearly you haven't been to VGF, which has 14879 members, most of which appeared during the first couple of years. And the person who made it, who is also the most active members, has 118,713 posts! |

Yeah, I went there. Seriously, though, there's this whole flipping from banned to admin thing that Xk did, and Acmlm isn't even around anymore, and it's all pretty fucked up. It's probably the best rom hacking board, though. There just aren't any other rom hacknig boards I know of with people who are both decent and active. |

All hail VGF, lord of forums! Well. In the old days, perhaps. We had members in the millions back then. Some users have post counts like that, too. It was, for one time, the ultimate message board. But people keep on leaving these days... On topic, Acmlm's isn't too bad a board in itself, but it doesn't cover too many topics which coincide with my own interests. No board really can, in fact. |
