What's next, is Google going to try to establish it's own country and government, or are they going to go the convential route and try for world domination. It will be interesting to see what twists and turns Google continues to take. |

Bill Gates'll kill them when their backs are turned. Just like he did to Apple, Netscape, 9 billion other OSes... yeah. That's all he's good for. |

Given how PayPal is *owned* by eBay... I don't think that's likely to happen. |

I love paypal. It's easy and convenient and usually the people who complain have had thier accounts frozen because they were involved in something shady in the first place.
I use PayPal off of ebay a good bit too. We use it for trades a lot over at TFans and I use it to pay vendors at Bricklink. I've never EVER had a problem with it. It'll still be there, sure, but maybe not as good w/o eBay backing it up. And of course we'd lose the ability to be able to use it for ebay invoices or to pay directly for auctions by clicking a single link. |

One day, Google is gonna be the president.
Eh, never used Paypal, so I don't really care either way. |

Well, I heard bad things about Paypal. So I only congratulate alternatives. |

Ebay ending partnership with PayPal? *sadness*
So much for ease and convenience... |

I read in my local paper that Ebay is ending partnership with Paypal... So how is Google competing with Ebay? Unless Google is doing Auctions as well? |

I figure this would go here since Google is doing everything nowadays, and to let people know about it.
News Article Source: BBC Its pretty interesting that Google will be competting with Ebay, I wonder if this will become a huge thing. Any comments? |
