But I'd still have to say Sonic CD has, and probably will always be my favorite Sonic game. It was just so simple, as simple as the original, with amazing music (both US and Japanese soundtracks), and some the levels were really different and unique (Wacky Workbench?).

I honestly haven't enjoyed any of the Sonic games since the Genesis era. I thought the first Adventure was decent, but after that it just went completely down hill if you ask me.

And now they keep on introducing stupid characters like Shadow, and give them their own games. Sonic with guns, awesome ...

Yeah my thoughts exactly! True Classics. I havent heard the japanese soundtracks of Sonic CD though, and a lot people say thats better than the US soundtrack.

Getting all the emeralds so i could play as Super Sonic THROUGHOUT the game was what gave me the incentive to look for secrets in those games. I've played the ones since, and it was kind of disappointing how they dumped that concept (although Sonic Cd is an exception in my book as getting all the time stones was important for the actual gameplay rather than just at the end alone which still counts for something).

You mean like the Battletoads & Double Dragon game?

Yeah, that´d be cool. As for Sonic games, the should make a Game pak for DS with Sonic 1, 2 and 3 on it. Maybe S&K too.

... Spore?

But yeah, EVO was pretty impressive and innovative back then. Definitely an underated title.

*coughs sheepishly* Tokimeki Memorial, anyone? .-. I still say Forever with You (first of the series) at LEAST, needs a GBA or DS treatment, the America and Europe people really need to experience this unique series .-. a GCN collection maybe even?! Come on Konami, I know you want to do something!

Star Tropics. Yes.

They should also make Zoda a playable character in SSBB. Screw Mike, or whatever his name is, he would just be a Ness clone anyay, but Zoda would be awesome.

Its funny going back to play games like that, Primal Rage, Clayfighter, etc.

They were awesome, but damn they are chunky.

A 3D Duke Nukem game. I guess I can dream though, dream on and on until Forever comes out. But really I hated all of the Duke Nukem games except for 3D (or Meltdown for the PSX). It was great, and quite possibly the first FPS where you could knock around pool balls on a pool table, and take a piss to regenerate your health.

Maybe not a classic but I would like to see Primal Rage back.

I loved that game. Just ass kicking with super monkeys and dinosaurs.

Actually, Mother 3 is really bad compared to the first two and is a mighty bad ending to the serie.

But well, apart from that...

-Vectorman
Vectorman was a great game serie and yes, tank Vectorman isn't too good compared to the original.

-GOOD Sonic games
They keep saying how they will bring back the old style (which was focusing on both speed AND exploration) but they keep shoving uber fast roller-coaster no-fun-fests at us. I mean... when will they FINALLY understand that what made the old games fun was their excellent level design, not so-fast-I-can't-fuckin'-see-the-enemy-before-I-collide-with-it speed?

-Earthbound
I just want to forget Mother 3 and keep on dreaming on a PROPER continuation of the serie that doesn't bloody murder all the elements of the serie on top of assaulting me with a world less than half of that of Mother 1's and Earthbound's in terms of size and depth. Also, bring back the genuinely high difficulty level and kick that stupid forced levelling up (making the bosses overpowered to force tedious levelling-up is a cheap method to mask the game's (very short) length).

-Sparkster
You had a sword, armor, and a rocket. You send yourself flying at enemies with absolutely no control over yourself once the rocket is lit. Aim carefully, people! Excellent level design made this serie really good... unfortunately, the serie was short-lived ; SNES Sparkster is the last game.

-Doom
You know what? Doom is still good even today. Excellent level design, puzzles, atmosphere... Doom 3 should have been a glorious revival of the serie. You know what? It sucked and it was an insult to the serie. I mean... one monster per room and thousands of identical halls after identical halls? What the heck? Where are the massive onslaughts of monsters? The wild room design? The weird switch'n'teleport puzzles? The death traps?... most importantly... fun, where are thou?!? I demand a PROPER revival of the serie!

Earthbound, duh.

Mother 3 for GBA, cross your fingers that it gets a translation either via IPS or in Europe.

I'm still waiting for a Sonic game in where you can turn Super Sonic in the middle of the level if you had 50 rings and all the emeralds just like in the Genesis games. Today's Sonic games don't do that except for the secret final boss. Sonic 3 and Knuckles is still my favorite Sonic game of all time because of transforming into Super Sonic in the middle of the level. He even can become Hyper Sonic in that game which was the only game he could do that. There were 14 zones in that game assuming you're playing as Sonic and most of them take at least 2 to 3 minutes to complete, maybe even longer for some levels like Sandopolis.

Well, I'm done ranting about Sonic 3 and Knuckles.

Battletoads, freaking Battletoads.

What happened?

Others:
- Kid Icarus (but I'm pretty sure there's talk of a wii Icarus game in the works)
- Lolo .... somehow, it would be amazing.
- Streets of Rage
- Vectorman with BALLS. The tank Vectorman that cancelled for the PS2 looked untasty.
- GOOD Sonic games.
- Blaster Master

That's all I can think of now.

I'm gonna say Mario and I'm gonna say Zelda. I know there's already both, but I'm not talking about those kinds of games. I want 2D. Dang, I'm sick of all that fancy 3D shit.
