First of all, I am definetly NOT a begginner to the PC
Second... M3I doesnt run on WinXP, only on DOS.

EDIT: Maybe i should take the enemies out of the lost levels instead? Also I learned how to operate SMB3 discombobulator (overworld only) so you should be expecting good (or at least BETTER) hack sometime.

EDIT: Yes. That is what i'll do. take the enemies out of the lost levels instead... only problem is itll be hard to get the lost levels into a smb3 game... i'm suspecting that only world 1 (minus the airship) will be filled with lost levels. Yes of course I could change the rest of the levels by myself, but I'm just too lazy to do that, as I am making another hack of SMB3 right now (and this one DEFINETELY WON'T be easier!)

SMB Improvement 3 works like a charm in that situation. But you might want to get the latest and you also might want to learn how to operate it. Last time I used that, I had to do a few magic tricks that I forgot to actually run the thing. It's good, but not too friendly to beginners to the PC.

the thing about filling in the gaps is that it jusst forces more gaps into the level because I can't add more objects to a level than already existing.

Be sure to fill in the gaps. That's the hardest part of the game. To jump without dying.

im just saying... some people (including me) suck at playing SMB3 on an emulator, so i created this hack for them, not you guys who are seeking out a challenge sort of like DahrkDaiz's MA2:LvM (Mario Adventure 2: Luigi vs Mario).

Edit: Plus i don't even know ASM, and I don't have a reliable hacking tool for SMB3 (e.g. I can only rearrange the levels but not add new things [i use SMB3 workshop])

Edit: PLUS its my first hack. Can anyone help me with SMB3WS? Ive looked all over the forum for help, but i just wanna know how to CHOOSE which 3- or 4-byte object or enemy you want to place. e.g. when i click on insert enemy, it automatically inserts a goomba.

Um...to be honest, I don't like it. Nothing has really changed, and you just took out the enemies. It would be cool if you made a hack with all new levels and no enemies, but this...no

Hm, my first SMW hack deleted all the enemies. It sucked though.

Well, I'm back! I'm currently working on a SMB3 hack called... well read the thread title. Anyways...

Storyline:
After having been defeated by Mario and luigi in SMB3, Bowser has had his army depleted. All he has left are munchers, lava, spikes, endless pits, Boom-booms, Koopa Kids, and of course himself. And guess what? Mario and Luigi are out to defeat him again!

Description:
If you ever thought that Super Mario Bros 3 was too hard for you, Try this! This is a really simple hack, all i do is take the enemies out of each level, so it should be done pretty soon! Once I'm done, I will post an IPS patch, but for now, just wait as I give updates.

Info:
June 21, 2006: Worlds 1-1 through 1-6 and 1-f are done.
June 22, 2006: World 1-s is done. 1 down, 7 to go!
June 23, 2006: Realized that 1-s is really glitchy (as in it doesnt work), guess im gonna have to work on that some more.

Requests:
1. Actually, you can read them all in the readme.
2. PLEASE READ THE README!
I take back #1.
