I tried that, it didn't help. Embedded Flash (using <embed src=...>) works fine. |

You're using The Proxomitron, aren't you?
Maybe check the settings on it, since I know I have to bypass to view Flash. |

Both are on. All Javascripts seem to work fine. |

I was able to duplicate this error by disabling java/script in tools>options>content. try verifying that it's on. |

Anything on Youtube. This is the first video I found a link to, I haven't watched it, so beware. Again, any site that creates the FlashObject using Javascript doesn't work, but in some cases I can view the animation by copying the URL from the source and going directly to it. |

can you link to flash that doesn't work for you? I'm going to see if it work on my FF with NoScript extension (no flashblock). |

I was having the same problem, even after making sure I had the latest version of flash the peice of crap didnt want to load. I guess the guys at Macromedia made a goof in the version detection, or else the idiots who made the script did. |

On all manner of web sites I go to in Firefox I see Flash movies replaced by text telling me to use the latest version of Flash. That'd be fine if not for the fact that I already have the latest version! Any site that uses the FlashObject in Javascript seems to fail. I have FlashBlock installed, but disabling it doesn't do any good. On some sites I can just copy the URL it points to and view it that way, but that doesn't work when they add parameters within the script. |
