I tried that, it didn't help. Embedded Flash (using <embed src=...>) works fine.

You're using The Proxomitron, aren't you?

Maybe check the settings on it, since I know I have to bypass to view Flash.

Both are on. All Javascripts seem to work fine.

I was able to duplicate this error by disabling java/script in tools>options>content. try verifying that it's on.

Anything on Youtube. This is the first video I found a link to, I haven't watched it, so beware. Again, any site that creates the FlashObject using Javascript doesn't work, but in some cases I can view the animation by copying the URL from the source and going directly to it.

can you link to flash that doesn't work for you? I'm going to see if it work on my FF with NoScript extension (no flashblock).

I was having the same problem, even after making sure I had the latest version of flash the peice of crap didnt want to load. I guess the guys at Macromedia made a goof in the version detection, or else the idiots who made the script did.

On all manner of web sites I go to in Firefox I see Flash movies replaced by text telling me to use the latest version of Flash. That'd be fine if not for the fact that I already have the latest version! Any site that uses the FlashObject in Javascript seems to fail. I have FlashBlock installed, but disabling it doesn't do any good. On some sites I can just copy the URL it points to and view it that way, but that doesn't work when they add parameters within the script.
