I'm drunk too. *hugs*

I went out drinking because the boss at where work now, and a form er employee there were holding a concert. Othere people from my job were there too.

I also brought my new cellphone, with a camera..

I tried to film som e stuff while in the bar itself, but it was to dark..

So I filmed some stuff outside instead, beacuase ther eit was light enough. (I live in Nothern Norway... north of the polar circle.. it does not get dark here in summer time. The eart h is tilted, yo u know. ()

Anyway, this dude got pissed at me filming and wantwed to start a fight! So, next time, I will NOTR bring that new cellphone, but use the old one instead. XD

Well, let's see. I checked my bank account today, only to find out that I didn't have 500kr (ca. USD 75)... In stead, I had 3000kr in my bank account! Extra money FTW,

I was happy. Following this, I went down to the pub, where I was met by the girl behind the bar who told me that the dishwasher hadn't properly washed a glass that she had accidentally poured beer in, meaning she had a glass of beer with faint tracks of lipstick on it. She wasn't able to sell it this way, and thus asked me if I wanted it. I'm not the picky one, so I took it. That + the extra 2500kr in my bank account = me getting that proper, nice buzz tonight. The best days for drinking alcohol are usually those where you go out only planning to meet friends for a casual cup of coffee, and end up sharing cold ones until the place closes.

I can believe that. Trip out to Seattle, didn't get any sleep before (early morning flight). I was up for probably 36 hours straight, and if you saw me, you'd probably think I was shitfaced. I know I sounded it, too. And that was after probably 10 or 11 cups of coffee on the plane.

I don't need caffeine. I normally have enough energy that I need alcohol to keep it all down

LIES!! You take that back! You take that back now!!

Caffeine is the only thing keeping me from losing my sanity most mornings at work.

Oddly, I only ever have even the remotest need for it though, when I am working...

Alcohol is a depressant.

I wasn't arguing whether you need them or not (stimulants that is). I was simply saying that caffeine is obscenely lame.

You don't need alcohol to stimulate yourself, though, just like you don't need caffeine to do that either. While alcohol may have stronger effects on a person, it still isn't a worthy excuse. People don't get drunk as a replacement of caffeine.

Loser.

Tired != drunk

Caffeine = lame stimulant.

But you know, alcohol doesn't have the same appeal of caffiene, to me.

The refreshing bit is most of us that were nearby were also quite inebriated, but still coherent enough to know there was no need for blows to be thrown. Good thing it didn't come to it.

(snicker) Bro Magnon. I like that one.

Yeah. Somehow I doubt that the knuckle-dragging Bro Magnon types in drjayphd's story think things through when they're not drinking. No wonder they get violent over nothing when inebriated.

Because it's hard to remember at times that you should THINK before taking an action. Most people act compulsively, that's just how people are. Speeding ahead in a merging lane makes people feel like they're getting ahead, without actually THINKING that it's going to do nothing but further slow down the traffic.

And, well, when it comes to thinking and alcohol, the two don't go hand in hand very often.

Because if you say "It's an accident, no harm, no foul", there isn't any chance for someone to win by coming out on top in a fight. So much stupid human behavior can be explained by the reptilian brain's desire to be TEH WINNAR. A good example is asshats who feel the need to race ahead of as many cars as possible at a merge point. (I'm talking about specifically trying to beat other people to the merge for no apparent reason, not about speeding up to get around a slow vehicle or get into a space in the other lane.) This doesn't help them get where they're going faster, but they go ahead and do it anyway.

That's how I feel.

That's how I wish more people would feel. If you're not hurting anybody else in the process, I don't see a problem.

I have a slight issue with smokers who are inconsiderate of others (ie, won't smoke outside / passive smoking), but provided most smokers ask if their non-smoking companions mind or not if they smoke, it's fine with me.

I have an issue with abusive drunks too.

All comes down to the whole "not hurting anybody else" thing

Everyone at my work smokes except for me ... they'll always jokingly ask me if "I want one?" but I'll always shrug, and they really don't care.

Its funny because I've probably heard half of them say "Yeah, I've been trying to quit" and then pull out a cigarette.

And I've only had sips of alcohol, again through work. One day we were closed, and needed to clean the place up pretty well. So everyone decied to get drunk and clean. I had a few sips of some green apple stuff that tasted exactly like cough medicine, so I didn't care to have much of it.

Smoking will, because the tobacco we use is VERY different from the old shizzle.

I personally prefer the Native cigarettes over regular brands, anyhow. It's a bit of a hassle to get, but they're 100% natural AND cheap as dirt, so that kinda works out in both ways.

No additives
