Animal Crossing is an upgrade of the original. Why would you want to play an inferior version? Now, the Japan-only Animal Forest +E had a few more upgrades, so I could (somewhat) understand, but I'd rather have the DS version coming out Monday.

I meant translations from Japanese to English. :\ I can't think of or find a single one.

Aerogauge, Automobili Lamborghini, Cruis'n USA, Fighting Force 64, Harvest Moon 64, Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, Master Quest, Mario Kart 64, Nagano Winter Olympics, Olymplic Hockey Nagano, Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Stadium 2, Rugrats in Paris, Superman 64 (!), Tetris 64, and Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey 98 have been translated into various languages. Mostly Italian.

Posts: 6/28 Originally posted by Colin I believe Zelda OoT was translated into another language, but I can think of no other examples, so it's probably safe to say that it is the only one. I really wouldn't expect anymore anytime soon either. timdevril50755 |
Posts: 8/174 I have the n64 version rom, use project64, if you can, it'll run perfectly, it does for me.
| You can google search it, or you can PM me, and I can give you the link to the rom. max |

Oh, and by the time you decide to look for the ROM in question, search for "Doubutsu no Mori" since "Plus" was the gamecube version. But yeah, calling someone else a idiot for not knowing something rather unimportant is rather rude. Altough, i had some problems emulating Doubutsu No Mori on Nemu64. Xkeeper |

Posts: 272/5814 No. Such a thing doesn't exist (I don't think there's ANY N64 translations yet) and my guess is that there'd be a LOT of text in that game to translate. So you'll either just have to use some translation guide if you could find one (GameFAQs?) or mess around. | partyghoul2000 |
Posts: 4/42 friggin sweet...would it be possible to find a translated version of Animal Forest or a patch for a translation? | max |
Posts: 29/214 Animal Crossing was first released in japan for the Nintendo 64 (as Animal Forest).
| So yes it is possible to emulate it with a Nintendo 64 emulator. Idiots. Yoronosuku |
Posts: 32/1239 He means on an N64 emulator. No, you can't. Why? The code is designed for the Gamecube only. If you saw Masterquest ROMs you should probably know that the Zelda Bonus Disk was only the original games with slight modifications, and an emulator. The N64 code is still there and can be run by an N64 emulator (since that's what it does ^^ | max |
Posts: 28/214 Animal Crossing was first for the N64, and yes it is possible to emulate it. | partyghoul2000 |
