First of all, the top border was just a prototype, I was going to add details; and by the way, yes the bottom title screen's SMB3 blocks are animated.
Secondly, the OW screen at the bottom is a ruined city type place. (In my game, Bowser is taking over and as you near his castle place, you go through a city he's destroyed.) The main problem with my entire OW is the damn shared palettes! (I hate those fucking palettes; everytime I fix something right, something else gets messed up (FuSoYa should've put total custom palettes for each Sub-map, where any colors you change would mess up no other maps; easier said than done I suppose.) I've been working on the OW and ripping GFX. Level design and Custom BGs/FGs are on the way because I just ripped the last one last night. (When I say 'rip' I mean figure out what GFX files are used for what in Peter_ac's GFX hack (Have you ever tryed taking GFX from his hack [SMB The LL Deluxe]? It's set-up very oddly in my opinion.) Also, if I used the OW shot as a BG, it would be either very small or I'd have to re-draw it bigger (I suck at re-sizing stuff.) Anyways, I'll probably work on an ExGFX border. Any opinions on what it should be? |

Is that what those are? I guess those other things are buildings that were all destroyed exactly the same. I guess looking hard enough, it doesnt look that bad, but it seems more suitable for a background than an ov. |

Why would a rotten pizza have tiny barrels of toxic waste? |

Yeah, the bottom one looks nicer, and WTF is that last image? A rotten pizza? |

I'd go with the second one, it goes better with the level. |

I would recommend using custom graphics too, but those are boring custom graphics. Either come up with something a little more interesting, or use the block border. If you use the border, I'm sure the blocks arent animated like they are shining like in SMB3, so I would redraw the bottom right corner of the block so it doesnt look like it has a glowing corner. |

I think you should go with the first one since it uses custom graphics. |

Use the bottom border for sure. I really dislike the top one - looks sort of bad in my opinion, whereas the bottom one looks pretty cool. It suits the title screen a lot more too. |

Here's my new title screen (I've decided not to go with the bottom picture's border of breakable bricks)
Also there's a pic of my new OW Sub-map (took me forever to get the damn palettes right (I HATE OW PALETTE EDITING!) Anyways, should I use the top border, if so what color should it be; or can I get some suggestions of what kind of border I should use (either drawn by hand [I suck at custom 8x8 drawing, so don't expect much or other items/ things. What is your opinion on it now? EDIT: Forgot the picture http://i5.tinypic.com/14ln2xf.pnghttp://i5.tinypic.com/14ln2xf.png |
