That "post background" field has a history of not working.
BTW, your BG is a bit bright. Try this darker version (the same image, but in half brightness mode). | ||||||||||||||||

But now, the background is going to repeat horizontally and vertically... With it going vertically, it might look pretty ugly... To prevent this, add background-repeat: repeat-x; within the style.
However, it's going to repeat while at the top of your post... This means that if you make a long post going down the page, the text is going to leave your background. In this case, the only thing I can think of that you can do is have a scrollbar. UNLESS you are willing to have it the way you have now. | ||||||||||||||||
