... oh.

I misunderstood it, and thought that you were to enter a code obtained in a Maximum PC magazine.

Hit "Recalculate" after entering "MAX".

Whatever $110.40
Maximum PC offer -$100.40
Total $10.00

I understand that as "you need a code to get the special offer, else it will be the regular price". Did you ever get any visual confirmation that the price dropped from $119.40 to $10? Or did it only say $10 before you began the checkout process?

No, it doesn't tell you

Absolutely.

See that box where it says "Special Offer:" and above that it says "Enter Special Offer Code if available?"

I don't think I can break it down any more than this.

Do you mean here? Because the price is still the same. And I might be stupid or blind or something, but I see nothing to put in that code field. I tried pressing recalculate even, but nothing happened.

just continue along with the process until it prompts you to offer the code; then it will be $10. I realised I was being abit vain after I posted that =\

What does that quote have to do with anything?

Anyway... It seems pretty much like $119.40 to me.

When I entered a domain name, I got this page. Are you really sure that you are only paying $10?

If it's just the domain, that sounds about right. But for both, you got a huge fantasical bargain.

Yes, it is $10 for 1yr of hosting.

Yes, it is a huge fucking bargain.

Yes, I wish I had a paypal account.

step one: go to bank.
step two: point gun to teller and ask for $10.
step three: go to your bank.
step four: put $10 in checkings account and ask for debit card.
step five: zomgz ur hosted!111evelne111!111

There's a big difference between $10 a month, and $10 a year . For a few GB extra space, I'm not going to spend an extra $100+.

Blah. I got mine for $14.

EDIT: As for hosting: I have 5gb of disk space and 100gb of monthly data transfer. And I pay $9.95 a month (plus $2.00 for dedicated IP servers. A total of $11.95/mo). Pretty sweet, really. IMHosted

EDIT2: As of today, I'm now going to have 50gb of disk space and 1000gb of data transfer. And I'm still only going to be paying $11.95 a month total. This is so fucking sweet.

$10 is a good deal. But is $10 extra dollars hell? A domain name where I get mine is $20 dollars, I dont see how people who can spend 10 on a domain cant spend 20. But there are the lucky people who catch deals like this. Good catch setz.

And if you read this dont get the impression that im saying spend 20 and not 10 because thats not what im saying.

Hey, you know, this would be too good to be true...

If I had that special offer code you need to actually GET it for $10 a month...

This is a long thread. Click here to view it.
