Recolors are bad.
Improper shadowing is bad. 
Stealing sprites and maiming them without their author's consent is even worse. 
If you're going to do so anyway, at least fix the shadowing and change more stuff other than just the tongue.  |

In addition to what the others have said... Yoshi's tongue is WAY too pointy. It's supposed to be rounder than that, not shaped like a fence slat. |

I get what You two mean by recoloring now going from light to dark making in a look right fashion. |

Well, you sorta do have to, in order for the end result to look good.
I assume it was your intention to take the original and make your own improvements? I that was the case, you needed to take more care with the recoloring. You've lost a whole lot of detail in places that was there before, for example -- the white spot is one of the most obvious. The "inverting" of shadow and light in some places and not in others is also visually confusing. |

1) It's a recolor, and you didn't even do it right.
2) You killed some of the shading that was there to begin with. And you didn't even follow the light progression light->dark on his skin, that was shown in the original sprite. 4) God I hate this stuff. I really do. You have no idea. |

I got bored today and decided to mess around on paint and edit something. I found a Yosh sprite and edited one of the Yoshi's on it. The orignal Yoshi was made by Rogultgot.
