I just confirmed it... It's a post that got deleted. Not a thread that got deleted, just a post. Try posting somewhere, then deleting the post, then clicking on the >> afterward. It'll go to that broken page.
EDIT: Post count also still includes posts that were deleted. In this case, it was a legitimate post (original text below), but... ORIGINAL POST: I think it's a post that got deleted. Not a thread. I've seen the "Last post by..." thing linger even when it's inaccurate. Actually did it myself at one point... Posted something in Brain Teasers, realized I had made a blockheaded mistake, and deleted it. The last post was still listed as being by me. |

Oh I know, I don't think a staffer deleted the thread though. They get moved to trash and edited 99% of the time. |

Originally posted by Danielle Us super-cool staff members can delete threads. and chances are thats what happened. while we're here, a note would be that if you delete a thread, the posts in it still exist, but you can't delete them [like say if yoshi dude were to post a thread with lots of porn, and quickly you delete the thread, yoshi dude's porn page would still be there under the show posts button] |

You can't delete threads though. So was it a nonexistant topic, or a nonexistant post? |

Sounds like he posted something and then deleted it. It doesn't update the last posted when you delete posts; I've actually done that myself, and my name still remained until someone else replied, which was quite a while.
In other words, it's happened before, don't worry about it too much. The reason the << is broken is because it's linking to the deleted post, which naturally doesn't exist. |

Just a few moments ago, supposedly this guy 'Config' posted in the announcements forum. However, the >> thing linked to a nonexistant topic. Yeah. It was at 06-04-06 08:32 PM.
http://board.acmlm.org/profile.php?id=1615 Who is this guy? Only one of his posts actually goes to a topic, and he's made... 3? Yeah. The link was to... Whatever the heck this is |
