Posts: 918/1427		 Explanation for how it works is here. Basically, the mentos (like pennies and a bunch of other things) have a lot of really small indentations. The indentations cause bubbles to form. Lots of bubbles forming causes the froth. It's similar to what happens if you shake a carbonated drink, except caused by an addition instead of agitation.

Poprocks are a myth that have been going around for quite a while. They don't do anything, I've seen it debunked before.

Obviously fake, although the bloody limbs strewn across the patio look veery realistic.

I'm guessing you've done this? Because otherwise, it sounds VERY implausible. Especially considering how much fizz is lost just by drinking it, and how much drink you tend NOT to drink...

Yup, it tastes alot like medicine if you'd ask me. Mentos eh? I saw it last night, the guys were playing with 200 litres of diet coke and over 500 mentos. They sprayed it all over the place making sprinkler patterns. Almost looked like water.

I wonder what would happen if you filled up a balloon with diet coke and shoved a buunch of mentos in?

Then, when they put the mentos in their mouth and drink the coke, the reaction occurs, and a jet of soda shoots out of their mouth XD

You could always try liquid + dry ice bombs, as seen here. Take caution, though. Don't shake the bottle when you've put the ice in. Also, even though they use soda there, it works with any liquid.
