I'm strongest in making original graphics and animations for levels and overworlds. I will be releasing an unlocked version when im done. My level designs are lacking... but I'm working on that.

I'm a fast learner, I learn something within hours that some people would struggle for days with. I'm also good at finding patterns, which had been useful in finding data in certain games I hacked, but not in SMW. I also know assembly, and thinks it's the simplest programming language I ever seen too. I don't get it why everyone thinks it's some über-language, though true it heavily depends on the processor you're using, but I hadn't any problems going from 68HC11 to 6502 and 65816. Infact, I might make a small SMW hack with some basic ASM hacks.

I suck at motiviation, and becuse there's so many SMW hacks out there that I doubt it makes a diffrence. Then, my crappy test hack have someone found it's way into GoodSNES (look for Super Emil World).

My strong points are:

-Custom Blocks
-Changing tilemaps of sprites
-Taking advantage of existing codes and changing them

I should be decent in:

-Custom GFX
-Overworld design
-Level design
-Plot

Overworld design
Custom Blocks
ASM stuff
I can make good long levels some times, but other times I get carried away and they're too hard!

Sucky stuff:
Custom GFX
Motivation
Organization

I'm okay at reworking object and sprite graphics to an NES-looking style. I'm pretty decent at basic overworld changes. I'm great at creative level designs. I have no idea how the hell I do ASM hacks and such. You should see how good I am at overworld events. I'm not kidding; I horribly suck at it, and when I do try to change events, chances are that I'll screw up the whole game.

So basically, I'm a decent level editor, but a horrible hacker.

I'm not really good at anything but graphics, that includes GFX EXGFX and so on.
Actually, that is the reason it is taking me so long to release my hack.

I have no other skills.

Havn't made a hack yet, and the only thing I've dabbled in is level design.

I think my level design would be halfway decent, I've just got to get the creative juices going.

I'm pretty strong in level design *Well to my friends i am but they have no hacking knowledge whatsoever. However the people that do have knowledge thought my levels were pretty good. I'm really weak in ASM,and sprite changing. basically if you need help in level design tell me and i'll help.

Well, with a bit of strenuous work I can create brilliant levels.

Thats pretty much it. I am pretty good at ripping, but I'm currently not putting them in until later so....

Thats pretty much it!

Overworld, without a doubt.

I know ASM pretty damn well. I can also design really nice overworlds and levels on paper/in my head, though actually creating them in the game can be difficult (especially since there I have to worry about the SNES's limitations).

I'm fairly good at Level design.

in a few days, I'm going to be posting an IPS with my third world completed!

I'm strong in considering different plot possibilities, but I suck at everything else.

There could be a game in which it's made by one person, but his friend hacks his computer and they alternate between making worlds. One of them tries to make a good ol' legitimate hack, and the other's just randomly making it so that you need to abuse certain glitches and things to get past levels, also abusing the fact that the gamer may need slowdowns or just emulator powers in general.

Another plot could be that Bowser's kidnapped Mario and has taken her through tons of levels from previous Mario games. The eight worlds could be SMB1, 2/LL, 2/USA, 3, W2, 64, Paper, and maybe something unexpected as the final world, too. This would really bring out peoples' creative sides, as you could try and rip it so there are separate graphics for Mario for each world (8-Bit ones for the 8-Bit levels, etc.) and it would be a fun challenge for the super-hackers out there who feel like trying to recreate some of Super Mario 64's levels. Also, you'd be able to ASM-hack in some new bosses (King Bob-Omb, Wart, maybe...) and I think this board could somehow make it work.

Yeah, if you want any new ideas for hacks, you can just ask me, just so long as I get a tiny little bit of credit in the end credits (or at least somewhere in the game) and so long as I don't really need to do any of the major hacking... (I'm seriously not good. v_v), and it'd be fine.

I'm probably best at graphics. Now that I've figured out ExGFX, I've been making my own tilesets. I'm probably average at best in level design. I still can't get the interactive layer 2 commands to work without glitching. That's why there are none in Starlight (other than the main part of the Marsh Ghost Ship (it's based on the one from Demo World). I don't know ANYTHING about ASM coding. As for the overworld, I can't edit it to save my life (beyond palette-swapping and altering parts not affected by events).

...Only a little?

I'm good at ASM, fairly good at OW design, great at coming up with new ideas, and not the greatest at graphics. I'm getting better at the last one, though.

Level design is not worthy of comment, neither good nor bad.

I'm good at level design, overworld design, and only overrating my abilities a little bit.

I notice I'm the only one anywhere near decent in that last one, though.

1.) ExGFX - I can make a Yoshi's Island-ish tileset or a mix of Wario and SMB3.

2.) Level Design - With the proper combination of blocks and graphics at my disposal, I can make some really neat levels.

3.) Making Overworlds - I get my ideas from dreams. Freakish overworlds you've never seen before. I'm still preparing my upcoming hack, "SMW: 8-bomb".

My strongest point is in the Overworld. I love making hacks with just overworlds sometimes, just because I personally think I'm good at it. My level design is fine, same with GFX ripping/assembling. I know a bit of ASM, but I'm still pretty bad at it.

So yeah, OW's are my strongest point, and if anyone ever wants one made, give me a theme, and an OW you get

Assembler coding, hacking, figuring out yet-unknown formats.
Music hacking, as a consequence of the above.
Making graphics and animation.
Making RPG-style dialogues and epic stories.

I fail at everything related to SMW hacking I did not mention above though.
