You need to copy a tile from YY-CHR to a paint program, paste your sprite into that, then paste it into YY-CHR, so you have (mostly) the right pallete.

Also don't use Paint. It's pallete handling leaves much to be desired.

Does anyone know what are the proper programs to use to edit sprite graphics. I have found graphics of the spinies i'm trying to edit at shyguy kingdom. When I enter the pic in paint. I zoom in and crop out everything but the one spiny movement I want. I then Move it to the top left cornet as far as possible. I copy it and paste it in an ExGFX file in YY_CHR. I then reinsert the graphics in LM and I go to a level that uses SP4=02 I put my ExGFX file in and look what it look likes.
