That'd be awesome.

Except not everyone is in the same place, and it'd be a huge strain to keep checking it

Yeah, I figured that out. But it would still be cool (of course, you'd have to get the weather for individual areas and gdjbdjfglkngjklkfdlfjlfdÙ)

I don't really like the idea of random weather themes. Cause then I'd go back to the Daily Cycle.

Seriously, all you need is a moon, the sun, and stars.

It would be neat if the clouds/rain were random... you know, the board randomly chooses weather for the day.

That was the idea So far there are 3 'backgrounds', though.

0 - Gradient background (normal, non-transparent PNG)
1 - not implemented yet
2 - weather effect 1 (nothing or rain (transPNG))
3 - weather effect 2 (nothing or rain (transPNG), placed on top of tables for rain splatters or snow buildup later)

I'm planning on adding another one (yes, #1) as a cloud layer, since pure gradients are boring.... perhaps another one (1.5) for stars.

Although that would make it cool, that would get as annoying as the frequent rain in GTAIII. Well, seeing it, maybe not, but the general idea is the same. It could ruin your posting mood.

Well, depends. Randomly choosing weather (like, say, 1:7 chance for rain on a given day, 3:7 for clouds, etc) wouldn't be that bad. Perhaps I could even add an option to always have a weather effect!

Though for now, when it's 'rainy', the colors turn into a sort of desaturated gray goop, which I kind of like

Meh, I always wanted a DailyCycle 2, but I was expecting it to be a little more graphical than that. This works just as well, however, and the colors make a little more sense than they do in the original Daily Cycle. So, are the different cycles for different times of the day, or are they completely seperate board schemes?

There's 1440 minutes in a day, and there are certain cycles for timings of the different gradients Some of them only last an hour, some last three or more...

Also like I said, it isn't done yet... I may be considering adding extra stuff like weather effects (clouds, rain, stars at night) and such, if I could get a good graphics guy. ;

Yeah, the light blue one might have to be tweaked.

But trust me, it looks realllllly nice so far from what I've seen. The sooner it comes, the better.

Now, I wouldn't have indicated the existance of the justus league, but that's just me...

I don't care. I like consistency in my schemes

The gradient on the light blue one is EXTREMELY hard to see... Of course, that may be intentional.

Other than the pink one, I rather like them. Not going to replace Night for me, but they do look pretty nice.

It's supposed to change like that, it mimics the actual daily cycle
