1) Yes, by hacking the overworld format, the overworld loading routine, the level entering system and probably helluvalot in the main level code. And even if you did, parts of LM would be incompatible with your ROM.
2) Yes, by hacking the level format, sprite format, the level/sprite loading routine and possibly the screen scrolling routines, collision routines and sprite routines. And even if you did, parts of LM would be incompatible with your ROM. |

For the first question: No.
For the second question: Why not using pipes/doors which can lead you to another part from the actual level? ... so you could make level longer. edit: Zachio was faster... |

Is there a way to have all levels (1-1FF) acesable through the OW?
