I really hated Crash going multiconsole. I kinda stopped caring after that. But at least he didn't sell out further and start having full 3d games like everyone else. I played one of his gameboy advance games some time ago and it played just like I remembered it when it was on PSX. So it's god he still makes sidescrolling games. Mario should have been doing that as frequently.

I thought it was always full 3d, even if you could just move the 4 perpendicular directions... I seem to remember a few levels from the first few that you were going back away from the camera, but that's just me.

Warped was the shiznee! *Hated all the "themed" stages though like motorcycling and water skiing but still.

Crash Warped... I remember that. Didn't really like that one. I don't think I ever finished it.

I have never really been interested in Crash Bandicoot before, but I do remeber playing CTR and Crash Warped idk which one that is, but they seemed pretty fun. Especially firing apples out of a cannon.

I only got into CTR after Hiryuu raved on and on about it to me. It's a fantastic kart game, very similar to Diddy Kong Racing but with more speed and some good challenges. If you like cart racing... GET.

I had the 3 CB games, CTR, and even Crash Bash a long time ago before I trade them in at EB. The only CB that I ever got 100% on was CB3. CB1 and 2, I was missing like one gem or something. I found everything by myself without having to look something up on Gamefaqs since I didn't have a computer back then. CTR, I forgot how much stuff I got in that game. Crash Bash, I had some fun with that game for awhile till all the minigames there were boring and easy as well. I'm thinking about getting that game again since I have some friends to play against as well as the other games so I can finally get 100% completed.

I have to admit the "Crash Deaths" are amusing. My favorite is when Crash dies from a TNT where you just see Crash turn into ashes and his eyeballs fall from the sky.

The first one or two seemed mildly amusing when I was playing them, but I never played them much outside of store demos.

CTR was a lot of fun, as were 1-3. I played them all and pretty much pwned. But that was on psx, which I got rid of looong ago, so it's been a while.

I mastered CTR in a week.

I grew bored after a while of beating the computer over and over and over again... and then everyone who tried to play me.

I was also never a big fan of the games. Nothing was... appealing to me for that. Then again, I was playing Sonic, Mario, and Final Fantasy at the time those games came out so... Crash just never caught my attention like those games did at the time.

I"ve always said if it's not blue and spiky it shouldn't be collecting gems anyways. I haven't tried the newer ones, but 1, 2, 3, and team racing were all pretty fun [but not great] games in my eyes.

I liked the first 4 games very good. They made me a Crash Bandicoot fanboy back then. Now the games have lost their touch. The reason for this is that Naughty Dog, the former producer of the game, has sold the rights to Crash Bandicoot to a third party developer.

Does that mean they suck?

No, it just means they're not Crash 1, 2, 3, and Team Racing. In the Crash bandicoot trio, the Crashsome 3, there was a lot of depth to the game. Lots and lots of hidden stuff to keep you occupied.

Now in Crash Bandicoot, the GBA games as well, has what kills the surprise. You are EXPECTED to get all the hidden gems. You are TOLD to do this. And the secrets aren't as fun. The games even limit "Crash Deaths" to make room for the game. Most Crash Deaths involve him being an angel and flying up, even when a trap looks like it could have had different results.

I still love Crash Bandicoot, but not as much anymore...
