And at last but not least. Do not try to write more the space allows you, that is, try to not overwrite another data and do not expand the rom manually by "inserting chars" instead of overwriting. There's a lot of SMRPG info here. There should be a text inside the zip showing the addresses of text in SMRPG (i think it's called smprpg_text.txt or sth like that) |

Load up SMRPG in a hex editor. You'll find most of the text just written out. |

About the thread if you look in it it shows some sites where you can find editors and other stuff. I suggest you look in it. And what do you mean with your last reply? |

Yeah, and I think I'm using a DOS version that was made in 1999. |

You still hack roms with it right? |

A specific text editor. SMRPG isn't conpatible with my text editor.
BTW it reads,"THIS IS NOT AN EDITOR REQUEST THREAD" |

First this belongs to rom hacking secondly there is a sticky there that tells you what to do if you are looking for an editor. |

Does anyone know where to get one? I searched Zophars, but couldn't find it. I mean there were NES text editors, but nothing else. So, any links? |
