I don't think any number of experiences will really give you an answer, it's a rather nebulous concept and very hard to explain to people.
In other words, I think words will fail to describe it. |

I actually have two responses to the topic title (Both came to mind):
1. I'll tell you when you're older. 2. Love is a word, what matters is the connection that word implies. (And I wish I could find the other half of the quote about love being a connection between two people) |

Well... I'm sure some group of hippies decided to name their kid love. Because they're freaks with their "free love" stuff and whatnot, so... yeah.
Actually, that'd bring a whole new meaning to a lot of things... "Free love", "loving to love", etc... |

Love is a happy time all throughout the universe.
Its when the male part of the species goes to the female part of the species and says, "Hey, you want to go on a date?" And then she would say "Why, yes, I'd like to go on a date" if you're lucky. And then you go to a restaurant, and she gets something called a salad, and then he gets a big piece of beef, that he eats. And that to me, ladies and gentlemen, is love. If you saw that coming, perhaps you should've done something about it. Because otherwise, you are only complaining about inevitabilities.
As for what love is... Umm... I don't know. I'd qualify it as a sort of feeling of... comfort? directly stemming from someone... It's really hard to say. It's... people you feel like you wouldn't care if the rest of the world went to hell if you had them nearby and happy. |
