Well...
I am done with season two and half done with the Adam and Jimmy saga. I was reading and I guess they left after the fourth season. Joe Rogan and Doug Stanhope took over and had a whopping two seasons (no sarcasm, really. I am truely suprised. I thought they only had one). However, no suprise in the fact that they have yet to release the two seasons (5th/6th) that Joe and Doug had. I kind of wonder what the Juggies are up to now adays. |

See, the thing about it being "degrading" is that Adam and Jimmy managed to do a lot of things that I would have found very offensive, but in a way that it was fairly obvious it was all one big joke anyways. And when you know that it's all in fun with no real ill will, it's hard to REALLY get offended.
The next set of hosts failed to do the same thing without that sense of fun, without the feeling of it all being one big joke. |

When Comedy Central aired it, I couldnt stand it. Thought it was degrading and all that jazz. My sense of humour changed quite a bit since then, and now I watch the reruns on G4, and love it. Not enough to buy it on DVD, though. |

The Man Show... while something I tended to also find fairly offensive, in its early seasons with Adam and Jimmy.... was funny.
I was unfortunate enough to view the later stuff and it was just offensive, not funny.  |

The Fox was only in the first season... He died at the start of the second season.
I do have to admit that he was awsome. But they had three seasons after he died. |

The show went off a cliff when The Fox died. Stopped caring... I think a season before Adam and Jimmy hit their eject buttons. |

Well, when the man show was on, Adam and Jimmy were relatively unknown. I never liked the man show that much. Adam never was funny and never will be funny, thats why his show he had on Comedy Central failed. Jimmy is pretty funny, he has his own show now, and it does ok, its at the bottom when it comes to the three late late shows, but its not bad. I saw the newer man show, and it sucked too. If I had to choose, I would say Adam and Jimmy. |

Ok... Not the most informative thread...
But I gotta say this, I just bought the second season of the Man Show. I just can't help it. It is my favorite tv program. Yeah... Scrubs is awesome, but I love the old Man Show. Also since my birthday is around the corner... I asked my parents to get me season three (only because I know they are going to get me something even though I say no) and my girlfriend to get me season four. I don't know why, but I love it. Unfourtunatly I hated the new man show... and from everyone I ask... they do not seem that liked. Sooo... If you even like the Man show... Do you like the old one with Adam and Jimmy, or the newer one with the no name guys? |
