it looks cute in its own little way, but it's certainly not something to set box office records. I'm not going to see it.

I saw this movie because I loved the book by Carl Hiaasen. It was decent and maybe overlooked by most people and some of the songs were just weird

Ok the burrowing owls was a bit overrated... but it was based on the book by Carl Hiassen (or Hiassen...) people can make things up... but also the way they showed the movie... you could think that the color has been a bit faded... but that's it...
Id at least give it a B

I think that the main issue with the movie is that it's so incredibly nonsensical. 2 words: Burrowing OWLS (whether or not they really exist, they're a rather odd concept to deal with). Add to that the concept of a corrupt pancake company (AND I THOUGHT BREAKFAST WAS SACRED) and you have a formula for... umm... not being taken very seriously?

I doubt I'll see this one, unless it comes on TV sometime that I'm watching.

A pretty decent movie... anyone care to watch it?
I still can't believe that the critics gave it a C- or something...
Even the Yahoo users gave it a C+
Life...
