I have two indoor cats, one was a stray that was delivered to us by my Grandpa (he was a kitten and was so cute we couldn't say no). Then we moved and after about a year we heard a kitty meowing outside, we went out and saw a little black and white kitten. We caught her and brought her inside, we fed her cause she hadn't eaten in a while. Now those two are so spoiled they just eat, sleep, and roll around all day . Then about 5 months later another stray came up to our house (I swear we're like a magnet ) and you could see her ribs, it was nasty, so we fed her and she was very nice to people (always wants attention). Well then she kept coming back for food and she was getting fatter, we thought it was the food... boy were we wrong , she went and had a litter of 4 kittens in our back yard (in the middle of a holly tree/thorn hell. ) It was cold and tomcats are around the house so we went and got them and they have grown up on our backporch (they are so cute ). Now we have 7 cats to look after. I've also had a lot of dogs and 1 lizard and a couple of hamsters, most of the dogs were given away... the rest died. My lizard and hampsters died too. I also have a pet sister if that one counts .

I've got two cats. A slew of pictures too... so here's two that I've picked out and scaled down for Internet use (I doubt anyone'd want 2MB pictures of my cats )

Misty, she's a year and a half old:

"<3 YD's cat." In WHAT way do you love it, if I may ask that?

Rydain: Your cats are really megacute.

We have a small dog Tibetanian Spaniel. He'd do anything for cheese. And he likes to bark at anything that walks by our house. He's also very playful, his favourite toy is this pink duck like thing.

My sister have lots of hampsters.. I don't know how many there are now, they seem to breed like crazy. (Yeah, I know.. last time we had a thread like this, they were only two. )

Yeah, I read somewhere that when cats are like 5-7 years old they've only been awake for around..2-3 days of those years . I forgot the exact numbers but my cats are always sleepy..sometimes. Maybe they're just awake at night or sometihng.

Rydain, your cat Cookie has a coat similar to my kitty named Tequila she's a long haired purdy kitty .
I have another cat who's 4 yrs old and that kitty Tequila is a year old.
I also have a Rotweiler named Sammy that's 4 maybe..not sure. He gets really hyper sometimes, I think he gets to our stash.

I have a dog. She's a cocker spaniel, tan in color, and she's getting to 15 years old, human years. She's old.. but she's a great dog, nonetheless.
I used to have many more pets... a cat, 2 hampsters, walkingsticks *shudder*... but they've all died. =(

I did have a pet about three years ago, but we had to move into a motel and we could not keep it. It was a girl dog and her name is Aeris. She was fun to play and to tease. Now we have no pets anymore. My friend has two dogs that are cute, but they are lazy.

Randy and I have a pair of 3-year-old cats we adopted at the age of 8 weeks from Setzer. Here's Chester...

And his sister Cookie...

And a more recent picture of both of them together. It's 104K, so I'll link it here.

We love our little guys. They're very affectionate and playful and generally well-behaved. They like to talk to us, give us headbutts, rampage around the house, flop and purr when we pet them, and cuddle up with us when we're stationary and they feel sleepy. They sleep in our bed regularly, too. Chester and Cookie are scratching post trained, and we were training them to wear walking jackets and leashes so we can take them outside, but we haven't put the jackets on in a while. Blargh. The weather around here has gone to crap anyway. Chester plays fetch with toy mice, and he likes to locate "prey" and howl to get our attention. If it ever gets annoying, we just hide the toy and he shuts up. They have caught real prey once, when a chipmunk got into our house during some maintenance work. Randy found it near the laundry where they like to leave their fake chipmunk toy. They didn't try to eat it because they never learned to catch prey for sustenance. This is A Very Good Thing(tm) because they didn't need to be checked for parasites afterward.

We don't want any more pets (other than maybe a fish tank) until our cats become geriatric furniture. Their basic care is very easy (scoop litter, keep food and water out, brush every now and then, clip their claws when they get long, clean up the occasional hairball), but they can be a handful. We swear they're part raccoon because they can get into pretty much anything. That is the downside to having smart, active cats. If they had opposable thumbs, they'd probably have taken over the world by now.

Do they poop frequently?

Depends on how much they eat. My dad's chickens literally follow him to the house and actually go up to the door and peck at it until he gives them food. Then after they eat, they strut their stuff and poop on the porch as if to say "Yeah bitch, we eat, shit and have sex all day. Take that.

And I know to not get a rooster.. they can be pretty aggressive. A chicken can be warm if you put them with close human contact since the first few days of their lives. When they're little chicks eeeeee
I'd like a job where I just love baby chickies all day. I'd be the best.

Roosters = teh evil. Once again, my dad has this one rooster who lives to challenge people. By challenge I mean if you walk up to him he will stand there, look into your eyes and actually try to fight you. So far he has kicked my ass twice.

And chickies are cute. Back then there was a festival or sorts here and they sold little chickens with dyed feathers (Not really feathers since thay are so young they don't even have that). I remember getting a blue chick. So cool until it grew up and all the blue left then I forgot which one was mine.

I later saw him when my uncle ate him.

Yeah, that thing will look cute at first but eventually once you realize that it is pooping everywhere and anywhere with no regards to anything you might be forced to eat it...

That or give it away. Oh, don't even get a boy chicken. They are tempting, to have a rooster but once that thing starts singing it won't shut up. And they don't sing at sunrise only. Any time between midnight and 10 am is fair game to them.

Hehe, I want a pet chicken in the future.
But they can't be house trained, and that may drive me nuts.

I hate how i'm not allowed to have a pet at my apartment.

I'm so lonely at times. Well, Pet fishes is probably acceptable, but they're... boring.
