I helped her clean the house today.. and I'm helping her cook. We're having like a mothers day BBQ.. weird. I should make her a card or something though. I always get her something like shirts or shoes or flowers every year.. and I completely forgot this time around. I feel like a failure. ]=... oh well she seems happy enough today. |

My great grandmother died on mothers day in march. Which was a bit of a bad coincidence, but hey.
I didnt actually do anything for my mum on that day. I think I tidied my room for once. Yeah. |

Mother's day is celebrated at different dates around the world, though. In Norway, it's the 2nd Sunday in February.
It's not really been that strong of a tradition to do something for parents on mother's/father's day around here. The most I have ever done would be to make cards for them, when I was still in elementary school. Usually, I would try to include riddles, and etc. in those cards. Sometimes, solving the riddle would give them the path to where I had hidden a "secret treasure", somewhere in the house. |
