"Back for more eh?" He kept charging up energy as he resorted to blocking with his armored legs, before lashing out with a triple kick.

Xana turned her gaze at Forte and her blue-gray eyes just stared without blinking. She then looked at all the other opponents finding it rather interesting now that she was in this state on how weak they really are. Whatever wounds she once had were all healed like they were never there. After blinking a couple of times, the half-breed lept into the air and went back for Forte. Wings beating profusely and her arms at her side with hands clenched into loose fists. Once getting close enough she pulled her right arm back and ready to take a swing at him.

OOC: I'm guessing with family during Memorial Day, which as for me I just lingered around... spending time with my wife.

"I swear Forte, I'm afraid you could literaly kill someone wiht those powerful attacks."

"Oh the only people I've ever killed with these attacks was that bastard Shadow who still doesn't seem to stay dead..."

Xana seems to have survived, which was a relief to him. Didn't want any dead veterans on his hands.

He's started to charge up once again, only this time once the charge is complete (in seven full turns), everyone, and this stadium... won't be standing up for much much longer...

"Oh my god... please don't tell me that-"

"Yup, gonna do what my brother does and end this battle with a bang!"

Zee was going to rush at the Pies that he had nearly hit, but was incapable of attacking them when they fused... but he smirked.

As soon as he attempted to attack, the blood had covered the electric tip, and Zee grabbed it, pretty unharmed... as the electricity moved from one arm to another - in sum, he had just electrified his blade!

He didn't have much time, however, so he just made a stabbing motion - and tried to aim for his knees.

(Ok what happened to everyone? )

As minutes began to pass within this fight. Xana's body began to move slightly albeit more paler than normal. Oh yes Forte did not finish her off as he expected with that blast and the fall. Her eyes opened and she moved more amongst the rubble to clear what fell on her off. She extended and flapped her wings abit to the sides, not going to fly again at the moment, just to shake off some of the dust. Xana was now the undead and wasn't able to talk anymore at this time. But her skills were just the same as before.

OOC: Who's Jack, Forte?
---
BetaPie had intended to launch a polybomb at Aether so that it would land in front of her, allowing the shrapnel to affect her and the other fighters. However, the magic tripwire ran higher than he anticipated, and struck him down to the ground - it appeared he was the only one caught in it. His polybomb went off course, now actually due to directly hit her. Aether had to be cautious with the polybombs - blocking would only get her caught in the explosion, and dodging the shape would still leave her open for the shrapnel.

After watching to see how the polybomb fared, BetaPie slowly pulled himself up from the ground. His plasticy armor clacked against itself in his quiet part of the arena. Finding advantage in his solitude, BetaPie abandoned his chase for Aether and floated in the air with his arms held down and head pointed in the air. He was charging something...

Whoosh, clank! Zee's spinning attack passed directly through one of the AlphaPies, but the second one blocked with his rod! This could only mean that one was a hologram and one was real, but the third was unknown. However, the two suddenly blinked out of visibility, off to cause mayhem in other parts of the arena.

The real AlphaPie looked at his twin, sensing that a charge was in place. Doling out a final jab at Zee with his electrical rod, he sped over as fast as data coursing through a computer and was merged. Pie's stats were doubled, to return to normal.

Forte's hands changed back to normal and he started to pant a bit, drained a bit of energy on pulling off that attack. He grinned at the destrucive power he unleashed on Xana, and the aftershock of the attack when it struck the ground.

"Isnt that going overkill?"

"Quiet you..."

"Well, you always like to defeat your enemies with a big bang. Surprised you haven't gone and whipped out super heavy-duty guns similar to ForteZero's Ultimate Armor, and go trigger happy."

"Since when have you been annoying as hell?"

"Kid?!"

She was not a kid and hated being called that. Her red eye seemed to glow with anger at that as she steaded herself in on spot while glaring at Forte. Surely she noticed his next attack in action when both hands morphed into one. The gathered white light from the head was something be afraid of getting in the way of when it fired not a few seconds after he called out the attack. A look of surprise crossed Xana's expression as she was just a tad slow to fully re-act and move out of the way.

The beam of energy washed over the right half of her body causing immense pain and for her to fall out of the sky like a shot bird. Landing hard and heavy within the rubble below. A cloud of dust rose from her spot a second after impact.

"Not this time kid!" He lashes out with a crescent kick, which the air around him whips up with a forceful gale that pushes him away from her...

He spins around quickly and morphed both of his hands into one giant Gospel head.

"Gospel Cannon!" A massive white beam of energy erupted from the maw, speeding down at Xana. (Hit or Miss) the beam of powerful energy will continue down, and collide with the ground, which unleashes a large shockwave of explosion that can also damage the others, crack and/or destroy the ground partily, but the explosion shockwave is halved damage.

"For some reason, they have to be thinking animation overdue budget."

"Have you been reading MegaMan X: Downtime from Stage-Select.com?"

"What's wrong with reading a funny art comic?"

"Many things... the author who made that comic was just going overboard with Spider and making money for a misunderstanding Axl made on his account... reguarding with Herble Esscenses shampoo..."

"You have to admit that is funny!"

"Yeah right..."

Xana brought up her arms to shield her face and knock the debris away (her wound healed completely so the debris didn't bother her as much). Smooth move to spare a few seconds against her. Beating her wings fastly, she managed to gain speed on Forte and catch up with ease. The half-breed attempted to grab him from behind.

Forte has moved behind a standing pillar, and kicks at it, breaking it and sending chunks of marble and cement flying towards Xana, before flying away once more. He's close to unleashing one devestating attack on the half-breed.... just a few more minutes ((one more turn)).

When Forte flew down at the ground, she followed and pulled up a few seconds before he did. Also heading straight at him still.

"Surely you can think of something better to do than start a game of 'Keep Up.'"

She was a little irratated by that as she knew that she wasn't flying at her full speed. Yet was still able to keep up with him. By now darkness would be lovely for her or knowing some other powers. Even knowing some spells would be really nice with all these loony tune people. Too bad she never liked to sit and learn when the sorceress from the Shadow Realm she can travel to tried to teach her such things. Yeah now she wishes she would have payed attention with those teachings.

He started to charge up energy, as he watched her carefully.

Instead of waiting to block, he flew down straight at the ground, then at the last second pulled up close to hitting Jack, and flew away. Let's see who's faster in the air...

"I don't like where this is going..."

"Oh yeah Gospel, let's see you come up with a plan on taking her out."

"Just keep your distance from her and use the ruined remains of this stadium as cover from any energy-based attacks, cause I have a feeling what you're gonna attack her with."

"You're right. And the others down below will be amazed and/or surprised at how powerful I am with attacking that half-breed with my Gospel Cannon."

"Or as most of our enemies dubbed it; Vanishing World."

(My thoughts there exactly when I made that post Forte. lol)

Xana feinted to the left and to the right to try and dodge Forte's blade attacks. One happened to slice across her right forearm which made her seeth in pain.

"Ok that's it!"

She then flapped her wings heavily to gain higher altitude and circled a bit above him. Then swooped downwards in a large arch to shoulder tackle him from behind. Her forearm already starting to slowly heal from the attack with her abnormal healing ability.

Zee would have smirked, but he was not that interested in it yet. Taking a sharp pebble from the ground, he slashed at his own arm, drawing blood - and let it move down to his sword, at first seeming to make one edge sharper... but then he made a spinning motion, sending a metallic blade at them! If it struck any of the Pies, they'd notice that it felt just like the blood that touched them before.

Both Pies went into a spasm when Zee's cursed blood cut into their armor like an invisible knife. The blood had coated the original Pie, and was divided equally among Alpha and Beta during the split, so the damage taken was whole. After a second of the convulsions, both Pies flashed with light and regained their cool, now clean of blood.

AlphaPie had been too busy to take advantage of Zee's loss of balance, recovering likely at the same time as his opponent. But once prepared, Pie did not hold back; he swiftly skated forward on the air, rod held steady and crackling with electricity! But then, just before making impact, there was a blinding flash of light, and when it cleared Zee was surrounded by
three Pies! Each Pie floated circles around him, their moves precisely synchronized to their twins. This was getting complicated...

BetaPie was prepared to dive into battle with Aether and Hector, until one escaped to the underground and the other to the stands. He detected a being, obviously Hector, prowling around below - likely waiting for a chance to spring up and ambush an unsuspecting fighter. Following suite with Aether, the cybernetic warrior glided to the stands for safety and engaged the girl by firing a polybomb that was aimed to explode on the seat in front of her, showering her in shrapnel.

OOC: Internal speaking between Forte and Gospel. Forte's is light purple, Gospel's is blue. Been reading too much of that art comic from Stage-Select.com...

"Why in hell does this remind me of that one damned anime show?"

"Oh, so you do watch DBZ..."

"Shut up Gospel..."

As Forte tried to lash out with several Crescent Kicks, which if they are unsucessful hits, a blast of wind may force into her and blow her away from Forte, the two continued speaking to one another mentally.

"So Forte, got a plan for taking her out?"

"Meh, thinking about just winging it."

"Oh yeah, Forte, just recieved email."

"I won't even ask how..."

"It seems Grey's pulling the plug on the Sim-Battle Veterans who have the ability to make copies of others' techinques, abilities, and/or attacks from here on out. Looks like you won't be able to go along your original plan when you entered this FFA."

"What!?"

"Not kidding either, and David agrees quite well on that plan. You won't get any more powerful than you already are, seeing as you hold part of the Living Assets within your own programming frame..."

Forte growled audibly, before flying far away from her. "Blades of Bugs!" He swung his claws and fired off several dark purple energy blades.

Zee would have snarled, but he was far too much happy to bother. "Heh... time to see how material you are..." he merely replied, just as Pie (OoC: either one or both of them) felt a pain on the parts the blood had touched him... more like a knife that had just went through the blood! But the blood seemed to be awfully dry...

He blocked Pie's counter with his own blade, before rolling away - just as Pie divided and spread around. "Aw, man... am I going to have to get more of you now?" he asked before seeing the odd blast about to be sent towards his direction. "Crap."

He barely avoided it, but he was in a bad position to counter, since he was supporting himself with the sword.

Xana just smirked when he called her a half-breed. She blocked his kicks and punches as well. While trying to land some blows of her own. Unlike most of the fighters here, she didn't have a weapon nor any other abilities. Except for shadow porting which was useless with the daylight. So hand-to-hand combat and flying were her forte.

((Well that was arguably a far worse plan, and also rather selective, as you really can't go that far back without disrupting several people's moves, and kind of screwing up the flow of the battle. Still, if you insist...))

It wasn't long before Hector realized that going underground when a ground-based attack was approaching was, indeed, a mistake. Had he taken the time to close the panel behind him, he might have avoided it, but the attack, when it came to the pit that was the elevator, at least the specific part that was to move over that. The thing about ground-based magic is that ground is a relative term in the magical world rather than an absolute floor of sorts.

As such, Hector found himself hit in the face by the dirt as the attack shifted to the lower floor, soon afterwards rising back to the surface as it reached the other side of the shaft. And just as it did, he broke the magic tripwire, and was beset by flames. Not particularly huge flames, as they would be had it been concentrated in a single flame column, but rather hot fire surrounding him for a few seconds.

Aether saw the shockwave move underground after Hector and figured he'd been hit, but would be rather disappointed if it didn't hit any other fighters, as she'd done it in the first place to get around his "copies" approach to fighting. Not wanting to be caught off guard, as she'd done some colosseum fighting herself before and knew about the underground rooms, she jumped back up into the stands to watch the fight.
