Well... the VB had problems to begin with. Eye strain, a lacking library of games, and a few other issues. |

Maybe they'll use it for another system down the road but now definitely isn't the time.
If you get *too* gimmicky, you'll die. Look at the Virtual Boy. |

That is 2004, Ailure
And it doesn't sound too much like the Wiimote. |

Well seems like the Wii-mote was orginally planned for Gamecube Someone on slasdot pointed this article out. Funny that they didn't announce it until late 2005... |

Yea, that would have made sense. Apparently though, Nintendo shows great interest in the eMagin visor but you guys probably know about that. Ugh, too much speculation. |

They would probably talk about that if it existed... It'd be a MAJOR point for the system.
So... Anyone read about the new Sonic for the Wii? Seems kinda... cheesy to me. I don't think I really want an on-rails platformer, but I suppose it has potential. |

If they were going to talk about 3D projection, they'd do so at E3 *and* the system probably wouldn't cost $199-249.
Didn't include tax because it varies depending on province/state. You think we have it bad... it's $700+ in the UK for the system. |

Dude.
Did they show the full version of any of the games? Are they going to exist? ... Duh. |

If they had that, I'm sure they'd have shown it. (And lol, the Hummer kept glitching up.)
Colin: Tax. |

We still need to find out if the Wii will be a portable machine, possibly with a 3d projection thingie. They didn't mention anything about that, did they? |
Cynthia Posts: 2637/5814 |
Yeah, but the PS3's still going to cost you $600... plus a second controller for some people... a game or two... any cables you might need... it's a $750 investment when it's all said and done. |

"It's Ridge Racer! Riiiiiidge Racer!"
That's hilarious. I once said that in the middle of a club meeting and the teacher looked at me funny. It's a good thing I'm not getting a PS3. |

The problem with the Wii60 plan, though, is that the Wii probably isn't going to cost $200, so the same price thing doesn't work |

I really liked the fact that Xbox was trying to get people to buy the Wii along with the 360, instead of just buying a PS3. Its going to be rediculous how much the ps3 is going to be along with the games. Id much rather get the Wii along with the Xbox 360 I already have because of the graphics on the 360 and the gameplay on the Wii |

Last year? No, not at all. Nintendo didn't have the Wii out and Microsoft were the ones with all the buzz due to the 360. The buzz that Nintendo did have was directly related to Twilight Princess, which several sites gave Game of E3 honors to. |
