Sounds interesting, I might try hacking something myself, just downloaded the entire 2600 ROM set

I played your hack, I like the graphics, if you're open to suggestions I'd look into changing the background, maybe a wall and some searchlights or something.

I've never played pitfall myself. I was always too busy playing Tank, Adventure, and Outlaw. I have to say the concept is pretty badass though.

Wow... Those are some awesome backgrounds on the Bottomless one...

Anyhow, your work seems pretty cool. Unfortunately, I never really played it, so... yeah. Hard to judge.

Yeah, that's the site, there're even more than the last time I was there.

I didn't think the 2600 was capable of that...

Ha, I remember this project

First time I ever seen an atari hack and it's of one of my favorite games.

There are actually quite a few Atari 2600 hacks, I found a website with a lot of them a while back, they're mostly patches to make the arcade ports more like the originals though.

While pitfall isn't my favorite game I have to give you credit for hacking something different. There litereally must be hundreds of SMB1 hacks out there.

Found an uncorrupted back-up of an old project from '03. changed a good amount of gfx and palettes so far, and changed the amount of lives to 5 instead of 3.

found some run speed, jump and sound data too. those will be in the next update.

SCREENSHOTTIME!

Jailbreak IPS (patch to pitfall!.bin)
