pix plz

Oh, and tonight, sushi and some miso soup. There's a Japanese place (really more of a sushi bar, kinda, only real small) on the way back from this particular school, and I swing by whenever I'm there. Tonight's platter was tuna, salmon, and a tobiko roll (tuna, salmon, avocado, cucumber, sesame seeds, and flying fish roe). Taystee.

Whale beef, with potatoes, vegetables (asparagus, peas, carrots and a little hint of cauliflower..) topped with bearnaise sauce.

Here is a picture of what was leftover of the vegetables. It is taken with my newly acquired cellphone..

Hot.

I haven't had a real, cooked meal in a long while.

Tuna and Ramen are two of Xkeeper's alternate names.

Ah, OK. It's just that based on what you listed, I could see a bowl having a bunch of those items and a few grains of rice here/there.

My mom needs to stop buying huge pieces of meat that are on sale at ridiculous prices. We had a HUGE roast beef yesterday for supper, so there was plenty left.

We tried to finish it off today with roast beef sandwiches. We still have around a third of the roast left.

No, there's a whole LOT of rice too

In fact, there's so much of this stuff I can eat for three days But that is largely the point. Rice is wonderfully inexpensive, and so is most of the stuff that I put in with the rice

I also love coffee to a rather disturbing amount..... but I limit myself to one a day because even though I love it, it does not love me if I have too much of it

I had fried rice. My special dodgy variety of fried rice with everything in it. It had:

* rice
* egg
* bacon
* mettwurst
* prawns
* bean sprouts
* cashew nuts
* peas
* corn
* brocolli
* cauliflower
* pepper
* soy sauce.

It was good. Certainly not even remotely "traditional" as far as fried rice goes, but who cares.... it was teh YUM.

No specific meal... just a series of snacks really... in a short period of time.

Popcorn from the movies, a pepsi slushy (also from the movies), Spicy nacho doritos, and coffee... lots and lots of coffee.

I like coffee...

in an almost frightening kind of way.

If you want something simple, toast some bread in a toaster and then slap some ham and cheese on it.

Yum.

Although it might be better if you have a toaster oven so you can melt the cheese.

Hmm... of course, there is ramen noodles with popcorn chicken. Ramen and hotdogs. Mac and cheese with ham in it.

Pretty much all I have to offer is quick food ideas for when you don't have the time, so... they could fill you up, possibly, but they won't be the best ideas.

Last night I had pizza at a party, so that is why I posted what I did...

I must ask... do you have one dish with butter in it that everyone butters their cob with, or everone has their own buttering slices (or however everyone gets their own butter...)?

My family tends to have one butter stick on a dish that everyone rolls their cob in, but everytime I tell that to someone, they freak out and say it's odd...

What a coincidence... I had stuffed jumbo shrimp, crum french fries, salad with peppercorn ranch dressing, a few tall glasses of coke and three dinner rolls. I ate out at the best seafood joint in Corpus Christi. Very good stuff.

Weird as it sounds, I've never tried shrimp in my life odd because I'm such a big fan of other shelfish like crab and lobster (it..is a shellfish, right?). Guess I was always affraid it'd have a "fishy" taste to it which I'm not too fond of.

Anyways, tonight I ordered out. Stuffed-crust pizza from Pizza Hut, wihth peperoni on it. Not very adventurous as far as topings go, but sometimes simple is better. I enjoyed it

Tonight I got a shrimp meal from this local mexican restaraunt. I don't know its official name. I could eat shrimp forever and I'm always disappointed when I run out.

Yesterday we had homemade fried chicken strips and baked potatoes from Wendy's. Sort of an odd combination, really.

Tonight's dinner was beef brisket sandwiches and chips. Also a bit strange, in my opinion.

And the amount of grease I've consumed at dinner in the last week or so pretty much predicts the fact that I'm overweight too. Our family doesn't try to eat healthy, and it shows.

Well, let's see... What have I been having.... For the last three days, I've been eating barbecued God-knows-what (It changes each day, Wednesday, it was burgers, Yesterday, it was hot dogs ) with a homemade... bean... thing that my father made, and a macaroni salad made with shell pasta. The macaroni salad was... generally good, but the only flaw was there was onions in it. One thing when making macaroni salad: NEVER PUT ONIONS IN IT. It ruins the entire meal... in my opinion.

I also had some delicious sausages tonite, but I have no idea how they were made...

Leftovers from my grandma's house... Yummy. Broccoli casserole, deviled eggs, barbeque chicken. Great stuff.

Of course, most of my meals qualify as "Whatever I microwave", so... it's definitely a bit different.
