I can go for as long as I need to go... But fortunately for me, that's never often. As I am a computer science student, the computer kind of becomes necessary to succeed. Internet, I can survive without indefinitely, despite being on it 24/7. There are other ways, you know?

About a month. But it takes about 2 days for me to go crazy.
Television fails most of the time and it's not like anyone would get up off their fat asses to play sports with me. Essentially, I'm stuck in a big ebb of nothing until I finally get to a comp.

Theoretically, I could survive the rest of my life without it, so long as I have SOME form of leisure (seeing as how it is my primary leisure activity). Or at least until life becomes so technologized that I absolutely MUST use a computer if I want to keep up a good standard of living. Whichever comes first.

Or if we want to play loopholes, I could always use someone else's computer. You know, use one that isn't technically mine.

Eh, a few days if I have some video games with me.

I bring my computer with me to school to keep me awake during the... umm... boring classes. Photoshop is a great diversion.

The longest I have gone was actually two months, as that was when my relatives had to live with me and my family at the time and my brother acting like the idiot self he is got fed up and yelled at our cousin. End result: room cleaned out. It sucked that I shared a room with him.

If I have nothing to do, I play on my laptop or video games. If I get a game I have been waiting forever for (recent example: Kingdom Hearts II) then I can go until I get over the halfway point before going back to the computer.

Let's just say I'm waiting until the day I can access the internet with my brain, and program and other tasks, etc. If I could do all that while taking a walk, that would be the shit. All of a sudden you'd have nonpale computer nerds.... who would be running into people and crashing into various objects.

Depends. If there's other stuff to do, I can stay away from this thing for a long time When my internet was down for well over a month, I read books instead. When I bought other books (and the internet was up) I still stayed away for a long time.

At the moment I'm without other distractions so I spend a while on the computer. My computer also doubles as my TV and HTPC though as well, blurring the line a bit between what are "computer" activities and what I could do in my loungeroom instead. I don't consider a day watching .avi's of Scrubs in fullscreen, on my bed, to have been "computer time".

Oooh, I thought we were playing, "Finish That Sentence.." If we WERE, then mine would be, 'Sucks.'

Anyway. It's routine for me also... Usually when I get home from school till about... ... ...well, until I go to Jared's for band practice.

If I'm out of town, I can survive without it. When I'm home, probably like a day or so. I use the computer a lot to chat, play my ROMs, or listen to music.

I can survive like 2 or more weeks without ever using the computer. I would go mad, but if I'm vacationing in places like Cancun or Mazatlan, then I don't have to worry about using the computer.

But thats when I had games to keep me occupied... and cousins. (The older, less annoying kind... )

The max Ill willingly go? 2 days max... I mean, my online social life counts as much as my offline one, right?

Bastards of public schooling.

Actually in the grand scheme of things, I luck out since every year I go back to school one or two after you do.

So it all evens out.

I know for sure, this summer, I will lower the amounts of hours I spend on this box. I want to actually accomplish things during the summer, not get pale with lack of sun and get a urge to stab people in the eye's.

The longest I've gone without a computer would have to be about a week, although that happened several times in the past. See, our parents used to enforce this rule where every other week, we were allowed to use the computer / watch TV / play videogames as much as we wanted, but any of the other weeks, we had to bring home schoolwork that we got 80% or higher on, and for every piece of work shown, we were given an hour to do whatever we wanted, up to a max. of four hours

After that, back in 2002 or so, our old computer simply stopped working, right out of the blue. I couldn't format it or anything, so we took what parts were salvagable, and set out to get a new computer. It took exactly one week for that new one to be brought home, but even then, my friend ended up staying at our house for the whole entire week, and had his XBOX with him, so coupled with that, Gamecube, and TV, there was plenty to keep us busy

That's not even mentioning that about half the time we did have a computer, we had no internet connection to it

In short though, one week is the longest I've gone without using my computer, and although there's the option for that amount of time to get longer, I don't want it to

Went a week once without it and found out how boring it was without being on the comp. Although the last day of my week vacation before I got home I did use a comp at a relatives house for maybe an hour or two.

Nowadays, probably not very long. It's part of my routine, in between school/homework/job. If I don't get to go on for a day, I get all... uncomfortable?
I went on a vacation a few months ago that meant no comp for a week, and that sucked. Withdrawals, man.

But when I was younger, I didn't even have a computer, and when my family got one I didn't really use it much. Starting at about 12 years old... <3 the computer. Got my own laptop.

7 years, (that's how old I was when my family first purchased one) In more recent times, that longest I've gone is about a week.

16 hours.

You could say the internet is a part of my routine now. I always, always go online at exactly 3:00 PM until about 11PM. If I am unable to do so, I get somewhat nervous.

I can spend all that time in my comp, seeing as I'm on early summer vacation due to the Puerto Rican money crisis. !

I spent close to two years without a computer. And even longer without internet.

A few months back I spent a month without a computer while I waited for a piece to be sent here.

It depends at times. If there are things of interest happening in the outside world, then I don't need the PC but now, the computer has been incorporated into my 'stuff to do while bored' time so I kinda need it.

As for my own free will. Close to five days, after that i simply get curious as to what has happened in the online world.

Unless life gets too crazy for me that I am diverted from my computer, probably three days at the most.
