It's entirely possible that he just happened to know where that quote came from as well, and was trying to be helpful.

In an attempt to stay on topic, I'll throw this in: The hack doesn't look too bad at all, nice work.

EDIT: It was posted on SMW Hacking Crap (when the old SMW Hacking forum was trashed), but when that one vanished entirely, it was passed on to the Pit of Despair.

It's not generic... it's from a very distinguished piece of literature -- "The Divine Comedy" by Dante Alighieri.

I hate to be off topic, but I had to point this out. What "srothroc" has clearly done here is looked all over google to find where that phrase came from, and then posted it, hoping people would be amazed at his infinite knowledge.

I kinda like that shot myself. XD

...SMWFreak? Nono, legoman was infinitesimally better than him in everything. At least he had a valid reason to his illegible posts. (He's finnish, so English is his second language. )

...and mariodizzy... Ugh. He's even worse than Phinsfan. I swear, next person who bumps this hack because it's "important" or "excellent"... well, if I could I'd make their name red.

Meh, I'm rambling again.

It marks the gates of hell, you rube.

Xkeeper had the hilarious idea to put it on the SMW sign.

Haha, yeah I forgot about that one. _¬ I made that when I was bored a few weeks ago, and only stuck it into a copy of World 1-2 so I could show it to a few people on MSN. It will be in a far more appropriate place when I get 'round to it.

No. SMWFreak at least had some brains, and made at least a bit of sense. He just turned out to be a flaming jackass in the end

No, the forces of justice will defeat it so in the next storyline there gets to be an even more ultimate n00b to fight.

It'll take a couple dozen episodes, though.
